half-time: 1-0.
should have had the game wrapped up in the first 30 minutes but in the end lucky for it not to be 1-1! |

full-time: Palace 4-1 Middlesbro'
apart from the last 10 minutes of the 1st half we were brilliant. if we had scored 6 or 7 i don't think it would have flattered us. only downer is Hull & Watford both winning again. |

Everyone was great today, even if Middlesbrough were poor.
But Murray and especially Zaha stood out. Was really back to his best. Lets keep this going against Bristol! |

Bristol? So Zaha is back with you for the rest of the season from Manchester then?
![]() ![]() http://www.manutd.com/en/News-And-Fe...al-palace.aspx Manchester United, Crystal Palace and Wilfried Zaha have reached an agreement for the player to join Manchester United in July 2013. There will be no further comment by any party until Wilfried joins United in July 2013 |

The point I was making in my previous post was a previous poster saying "let's keep this going against Bristol". But as you know, there are two football league teams in Bristol. Similar to two Premier League teams in Manchester!

Lovely performance today. This was a tricky game but we were head and shoulders above them for the vast majority of the match.
Zaha was fantastic in the first half and Murray showed his class throughout, his second goal was brilliant. Interesting to see Roy Hodgson there checking out Zaha. I wonder if Murray made an impression?!

Both of us must be heading towards some kind of goalscoring record for a season...

Murray bagged a double to make it 27 goals for the season

Haha, yes fair point. But just one of them plays in our league, so I assumed there would be little confusion.

CHAMPIONSHIP vs Bristol City (Home) Due a good performance & result against then after all the last minute goals & Sears not given goal in the last few seasons . Also our heaviest league defeat this season was down there in August followed shortly after by another 4 -1 thumping at Preston in The League Cup when it looked like a long hard struggle ahead this season . |

final score: Palace 2-1 Bristol City
Murray with his 28th of the season and Dobbie with the second goal. a Parr OG right at the end for them. good news is that both Cardiff & Leicester lost. bad news is both Hull & Watford won again. |

![]() ![]() ![]() http://www.newsshopper.co.uk/sport/1..._Bristol_City/ CRYSTAL Palace ensured they picked up back-to-back home victories with a Selhurst success over Bristol City. |

Not a great game, but a great win.
Love watching Murray keep banging them in. Class free kick from Dobbie too. Thank God those players weren't good enough for Brighton.

Wasn't the best of games but it's three points and we've started to win games again just at the right time. This run-in is going to be tense to say the least. I noticed this morning that we have Hull coming to Selhurst in two weeks... Crunch game would be an understatement!!

full time: Sheff Wed 1-0 Palace
and this is why we won't get automatic promotion and will have to make do with the play-offs at best - our away form is terrible, 10 away games without a win. even though we dominated the 2nd half we still find a way to lose the match. very annoying and very disappointing. |

It was a really poor game. And it's frustrating to let one in like that, especially when we had started the second half a lot better than the first.
I wonder if we could get all our remaining games switched to Selhurst?

We wouldn't have deserved more than a point but it's bloody annoying that we ended up losing that game. And it's equally annoying how we still can't get it right away from home, especially at this stage of the season. It puts more pressure on us to win the home games, too.

our away form will cost us any chance of automatic promotion... it's just not anywhere near good enough... the play-offs is our best chance.
just realised our game at derby is tomorrow night and not on saturday! |
