You burned down your town, you burned down your town, you stupid Bastards, you burned down your town. You should have burned more, you should have burned more, you stupid Bastards, you should have burned more. Great chant. Bye bye Nigels.

That was a bloody disaster.

I suppose we've had an insight into what it must usually feel like to be a Brighton fan when these games come around.

I think the stats on which of our two teams has won the most encounters will make interesting reading. Most honest Brighton supporters were not expecting that result today. Time to end the nastiness. The clip on NSC showing the idiots outside The Amex will interest the police. A few more bannings I hope.

^ The free-kick was class, no argument there. No argument with the result either. Ok, we started off alright and it was fairly even up until the first goal. After that only one team deserved the win and it definitely wasn't us. Sometimes you just have to hold your hands up and say we just weren't good enough and today is one of those days. Very disappointing but we still have 8 games left and we still have a decent shot at second place.

Of course, there is always a possibility of a Palace v Brighton Play-Off Final come May.

Just thought as a Watford fan I'd post some news that may be of interest to you.

We've avoided a points deduction or fine for the actions of our former owner who has been banned from football for 3 years.

yeah, fair play to the seagulls, they punished us big time... we may as well have gone home at half-time so poor was that 2nd half from us... it's a big blow losing that particular game but in the bigger picture we haven't lost any ground on watford and hull so we put it behind us and focus on winning as many of the last 8 games as we can... now's the time to respond to this defeat and stand up and be counted...

p.s: a palace v brighton play-off final would be beyond mental!

I'll be more worried about Forest

No goals from Murray away from home this year

Forest definitely in contention, what with the form they're in.

Zaha has been issued with a one-match suspension and a £3000 fine for that gesture he made to Leeds fans and will miss the game against Birmingham on 29 March. Link.

I've had 3 days to pretty much ignore football and I'm ready to continue the season.

A shame we have to wait so long for the next game, but at least it's at home!

Zaha's ban seems stupid. I know it's the same as they've given to some others, but his 'gesture' was nothing really. No football fan is gonna be offended by that - and he even apologised straight away anyway.

Glenn Murray has been shortlisted for the Championship's Player of the Year at the Football League Awards.

Wilfried Zaha is nominated for the Young Player of the Year prize, which he won last year.

Link.

would be a travesty imo if murray doesn't win it...

...think this international break will do us good... gives us time to clear our heads after the brighton defeat and get focused on the final 8 games...

Zaha played well for the U21s last night and Jonny Williams making an impressive debut for Wales tonight.

The latter looked a classy player against us.

A broken leg held him back for a whille but it seems maybe unlike Ramsey to an extent that hasn't affected him as much.

Maybe not as bad ofcourse....

Quite funny how much Watford fans let Holloway get to them. It's sweet really.

Funny isn't really the correct word in relation to that video. If we don't get automatic promotion, revenge for the 2006 playoffs would be decent.

Like it.

I'm obviously biased but I was amazed to find out that Murray hadn't won the award.

Vydra's had a very good season for Watford, no denying that, but Murray's contribution has exceeded anyone else in the division IMO.

we've signed Ivory Coast international striker Aruna Dindane on a deal until the end of the season.

Did anyone see the Wales game last night? Williams played brilliantly for about 75 minutes and was given man of the match despite their loss. Hope he's not too tired for Friday but think it will just build his confidence.

Williams is our ace in the hole. A true gem of a player that has one hell of a future. I just hope we can hold on to him for a few years yet.

Meanwhile, great news in that Glenn Murray has agreed a new three-year contract. Link.

Yeah Williams is so good to watch. We've yet to see him have a full season without injuries, so I really hope we don't let him go too soon.

Great news about Murray too!

Only meant to be a bit of fun.

Watford fans don't think Vydra is the best player in the squad this season. For us Abdi should've won it.

I think you'd find very few people who'd sign murray over vydra if you had the chance for either.
