Good luck today..although I quite like POSH to stay up as its a decent fairly local trip if we don't go up.

1-1 at the half. Murray with his 30th of the season from the spot.

Palace 3-2 Posh

our first win in 10 sends Posh down.

and now it's Palace v Brighton in the play-off semi.

Phew! Loads of credit to Posh, it's a shame to see them go down.

Thank God we've finally won a game. If we had gone in to the play-offs not having won in 10 I wold have dreaded them. But now...

and now it's Palace v Brighton in the play-off semi.
...in a way this could be good for us as form usually plays no part when we play each other - which is probably just as well!

First leg is at Selhurst next Friday evening (10th May) Second leg at the Amex on Monday 13th.

Just realised that Jedi scored the winner on May the 4th!

Now that was a crazy end to a crazy regular season.

Bolton missing out was a nice little bonus, but I'm nervous about Friday already!

Indeed, but I reckon Dougie will have them in and around that top 2 next season.

Logic would say that Brighton will dispatch us reasonably comfortably over the two legs on current form but form counts for nothing when we play each other - at least that's what I'm going to keep telling myself!

One thing is for sure, Selhurst will be rocking on Friday night!

happy to finally get a win after such a barren spell... but our defence is still all over the place... we need to tighten it up and be more disciplined otherwise brighton will just roll over us over the 2 legs.. looking forward to the games though... with our away record we will need to take a lead back to their place.

I'll be at Selhurst but won't be able to make the away leg so I'll have to make do with watching it on the box.

So, another play-off quest begins. I think this is our 7th crack at them. I was there in 1989, 1997, and 2004 when we won them. Also there when we lost the 1996 final. And as for 2006, and 2008, let's just forget they ever happened!

Not gonna lie, I'm slightly worried Friday could end up like that Watford 2006 first leg!

Big Player of the Year awards last night - Jedinak getting the main award and Williams the Young Player.

Plus the new badge was finally launched - think I quite like it!

A big well done to both Jedi and Joniesta. No arguments from me on either count although I had thought Murray would win the main one.

As for the new badge, I like it, it reminds me of the one we had previously (before the current one) albeit with a more agressive looking eagle.

Next season's new kits have been revealed, too.

Link.

I cannot emphasise enough how much I dislike the home kit. We do not play in halves, we play in stripes! Very disappointing. But the away kit is very cool.

the new badge is alright, although i agree with satt about it being similar to the one we had before...

... can't believe someone actually thought it was a good idea that we play in red & blue halves next season, and i can't believe cpfc2012 then went along with it! horrible home kit! but the away kit is great...

... nice one jedi and williams... both have been outstanding this season.

looking forward to and dreading tomorrow night at the same time. part of me thinks we'll be ok, part of me thinks we'll get battered! i definitely think we need to take a lead back to their place.

i really like the new badge but like others i hate the new home kit.

I just hope we do ourselves justice over the two-legs. If we fail to turn up I will be bloody annoyed.

Since you have our player on loan, I will be rooting for you, and hoping that he does well!

Hopefully it's all set up for a big game from Zaha tonight.

Good luck! Will be rooting for Palace as I have family that support them so like to see them do well. I am pessimistic about your chances though as you have not been in form at all recently.

Crystal Palace and Brighton will head into Monday's Championship play-off semi-final second leg with everything to play for after a goalless draw.

Palace were better after the break, with Brighton's Wayne Bridge clearing Danny Gabiddon's header off the line.
But Palace lost striker Glenn Murray to an apparently serious knee injury.

Mark Bright
BBC Radio 5 live football pundit
"Murray held his knee straight away when he went down. It looks like he might have damaged ligaments. It's a great shame because to score 30 goals in a season is a fantastic achievement. I think only six Palace players have achieved that."

Murray, who has scored 30 goals during the campaign, was carried off on a stretcher in midway through the second half and is likely to miss the second leg.

Such a shame for Murray, it looked bad.

Felt a bit of a missed opportunity after a decent second half tonight. Now not at all confident going to their place, but if we start well you never know.
