i didn't think it was a particularly good performance overall. the 1st half was woeful, the second half better but i never really felt we were going to score. we looked impotent going forward for most of the game. i'd be amazed now if we got through.

To be frank I thought it was garbage. We are a shadow of the side we were at the turn of the year.
I didn't understand why Williams started only to be played out of position? Garvan was completely inaffective in the first half, Bolasie should have replaced him at half-time with Williams switching to a more central role. Also, when Murray got injured why wasn't he replaced by Phillips, a man who can score a goal from nothing, unlike Wilbraham? Our only chance on Monday night is to pull the proverbial rabbit out of the hat because right now I can only see a comfortable win for Brighton. |

Shame for you Murray is out - maybe long term?
Surely KP would have been better coming on... |

Tonight's the night then. Not expecting anything, but I just hope we give it a good go. Quote:

So predictions - 0-0 after full time and extra time then Palace to win 8-7 on penalties?

Besides I'm not greedy, a simple 5-0 win would be fine. |

I'm going in with very low expectations so that way I'm not going to be too down if we do get beat.
TBH unless we pull out a stunning performance from somewhere, penalties could be our best chance. |

if we get beat then so be it but we better have a real go at it!
tonight's line-up and Bolasie starts on the bench again. Wilbraham replaces Murray. Speroni, Ward, Delaney, Gabbidon, Moxey, KG, Garvan, Jedinak, Williams, Zaha, Wilbraham. Subs : Price, Richards, Bolasie, Phillips, O'Keefe, Ramage, Moritz |

The problem is we continue to look impotent up front. I agree about Bolasie coming on and I'd like to see Phillips on within 15/20 minutes after the restart.

Needless to say it's become a lot more intense over the years. |

Brighton have been very poor and looked like scoring but big credit to Crystal Palace a thoroughly deserved victory.

we should ask for another £5m for Zaha lol.
2nd half was great. we got a bit of luck when we needed it but we were the better team after the break. Wembley here we come! |

Only one more game to go - you are almost there. Come on you Eagles.
