just on my way back now.... yessssss!!
![]() ... much much better from us tonight overall but especially that 2nd half... apart from a couple of scares we were easily the better team.... i did think the worst when williams missed that one-on-one but zaha's goals were brilliant and that 2nd one sent everyone mental! we're going to wembley folks!

Respect to anyone who went to the Amex. I watched in a pub in Croydon.
Wilf, what can I say? Cometh the day, cometh the man. Tonight, we were a team. Beautiful. |

Was not expecting that last night . First time at the new Wembley , hope we turn up & play like last night not the last six weeks or so . Even if we do not go up we still need another striker if Murray is out until Christmas .

Just ordered my Wembley tickets!
I've been there with England, but my first time with Palace. Never thought I'd see it. Still can't believe last night happened.

Congratulations folks, I hope that you all have a wonderful time in the final, and that once again our player helps you to the top division!

I am so relieved that my prediction of extra time and penalties was wrong. It looked as though we would win as soon as we scored and Brighton have such a poor record of winning if they concede the first goal.
Zaha at last looked as though he could be worth £15m. It will be interesting to see how he does next season (assuming we don't get him back on loan!) when he is likely to only have one defender to beat instead of two. |

I'm still buzzing from last night - I didn't get too much sleep! ![]() BUT, it wouldn't be Palace if there wasn't some bad news - Murray out for a minimum of 6 months. Link. |

See you all at Wembley.
Hope its a good game decided by a moment of quality rather than bad luck or poor decision. Better be at those prices I guess! |

Which one did you go for? Can't believe they go up to £98! For the Wembley final against Sheff United in '97 I think I only paid about £18!

It seems most people on both sides have gone for that Joooe.
Isn't much cheaper for the League One/Two finals and even the Blue Sqaure final was something like £45! I wonder how the Chelsea/Man City (Arsenal and Man U never get to Wembley it seems) cope... |

It's steep isn't it? Even going to Cardiff in 2004, including the travel costs etc, I spent less!
All the best to your boys, too, Mark. I'm glad it's Watford we're playing, I have a soft spot for the club and if we do have to lose at least it means you go up. Hopefully it's a good open game. If the two league games are anything to go by there should be goals! |

Think we paid £32 in 2006 and it was probably about the same in 1999.
I think we are the same sort of club really (youth minded*/couple of cup finals and good top flight seasons/family club etc) You do get bigger crowds though (most do!) Some bigger teams in this league would see us as "tinpot" ofcourse! *Ok not for us this season so much but we've still had a few in the squad and some out on loan getting games. Youngsters haven't been totally forgotten about and from what I have heard some train with the 1st team. |

i had a moment of madness and went for category 2... i must be insane!
... the prices are ridiculous though...... did both clubs get 33,000 tickets? gutted about murray, that definitely makes a striker or 2 top of the shopping list this summer regardless of the division we're in... |

We've got a few more..for some reason!
http://www.football-league.co.uk/pla...293328_3171318 Just as well we aren't playing a Leeds - they'd be spitting feathers if we got more. |

thanks for that... i never quite understand why you get allocations like that especially when the difference is just a few hundred... you'd think both clubs would just get the same amount!

My tickets for Wembley have arrived.
That's one worry off my mind! 11 days now to worry about the match itself!

So Palace are on our way to Wembley and now the Gus Bus is on its way out of Brighton.
What a funny week.
