Wasn't able to get tickets for Wembley gutted!

However I'm slightly bemused after ringing the box office that although they televised the second leg of the palace/Brighton game at Selhurst park, they don't plan to show this game.

Feel like they missed a trick there.

that doesn't make sense at all... you'd think they would do a beam back at selhurst for those that couldn't get tickets!

martin atkinson is gonna be the ref for the final... link

I can only guess that most of the staff will be at Wembley, so they'd have no one to open up?

^ Lol, good point!

I do feel for those who haven't been able to get a ticket especially those that actually go to games throughout the season.

I often wonder how many of the staff in the ticket office etc would actually be fans of the club they work for?

Probably are with you guys as your owners are supporters themselves...

I read that Watford have sold out their allocation now, Mark. Should be a cracking atmosphere.

I also read that we're all doing what we normally do when we play at Wembley - bringing red & blue balloons by the truck load!

I am a bit surprised we sold out so quickly - before they went on general sale as such.

It went up to those who had brought match day tickets - guess a lot of STHs had mates who wanted to go (probably Arsenal/Spurs fans who haven't been for years!)

We aren't usually the loudest fans but with 33k odd we should create a good atmosphere - yours is pretty good anyway.

We've won our 2 play-off finals.

Do you reckon Zaha will come back on loan if you go up?

This will be our 5th final. Won 3, lost 1 (when Steve Claridge shinned that last minute winner back in 1996... git! )

I'd be amazed if Zaha came back but I suppose it all depends what Moyes has planned at OT. I think we'll be planning to replace him, promotion or not.

Some excellent retro Crystal Palace vs Notts County on ITV4 yesterday morning from late 1978/79 on The Big Match Revisited, Palace closing in on promotion with their 'team of the 80's' side. Showed Brighton beating Blackburn Rovers, with one of Brighton's goals assisted by a smoke bomb being lobbed into the penalty area to confuse Rovers goalkeeper and defenders, yet potentially the Brighton goal scorer too. TV of the highest order

Same here - going to enjoy the day and match (hopefully)

Sounds like the weather is going to be a lot better...the sight of yellow/black and blue/red would make for a very colourful Wembley.

Worry about what needs to be spent or what might happen to the loan players afterwards!

Lets hop it's a decent game Mark , I'm worried what ever division were in next season where are the goals are going to come from , with Murray out for ages & Zaha gone

That was tough losing Murray for the season - Phillips will get goals but not play much..

Its probably unlucky in a way that Man U have a new manager - I reckon Ferguson might have sent Zaha out on loan for experience but Moyes will want to asses all his squad.

Its all a bit uncertain for us as well - which loan players will want to stay (some say they do but that could just be the usual positive PR spin) and I don't really know what this supposed transfer embargo means.

According to one of your fans on Homesdale who explained it well we could just be allowed to by 5 players but the current suggestion is we can buy but with proir approval from the FA/FL (which I thought they did anyway)

I cannot see us spending big either way - think Cardiff might and Hull could use Steve Bruce's contacts at Man U.

the way I see it is we're going to have to spend this summer either way - to replace Zaha & Murray to start with. plus, the worry is if we don't go up can we keep hold of the likes of Jedinak, Bolasie, Williams etc?

looking forward to Monday very much especially seeing the new Wembley. but part of me is worried too. i hope we don't freeze.

anyway i hope everyone has a great day, Palace & Watford fans alike.

I would hope that either of our clubs are sensible if we go up. Invest in youth and the redevelopment of the stadiums. At least, that's what I am hoping where Palace is concerned.

With 4 years of parachute payments now on top of the potential £120m for just earning promotion this is going to be one expensive game to lose!

On Virgin I think you have to pay for a month? I could be wrong on that.
