Not the best time to really play poorly but that is a credit to you guys though.
Good luck in the Premier league - I can see you surprising a few teams who don't fancy a trip to Selhurst and you have that 15 million to spend at least from the Zaha deal (maybe you could get him back on loan..) Play-off teams tend to do better than some of the auto promoted sides and you are a well run club so won't gamble on your future I am sure. Its tricky though itsn't it - already on the other thread people are suggesting you need to spend this and that but as QPR proved it doesn't always work. I'm hoping we give Super Kev a one-year deal. The guy deserves it, and he'd be great to come off the bench for those final 20/25 minutes. |

Have to say i really feel for watford today. Would of been so much easier if we had beaten brighton at wembley. I even had a watford fan congratulate me at the train station yesterday and wish us well. They seem a very classy club to me.

Meanwhile Steve Parish says there are no plans to try to get Zaha back on loan from Man United. Link. |

I didn't think we would get Zaha back. Got a feeling that there will be some good signings in the summer. New kit, New badge and Premier league football. The good times are Pack for us! Eaglessss

As a Watford fan, I would like to add my congratulations to Crystal Palace. Your supporters were brilliant before, during and after the game. I hope you can stay up next season and I think you might. There were a few poor teams in last seasons Premier League and I think you will be more suited to top flight football than Hull.
I don't think you should spend silly money on players, but you may need to invest in a striker as you won't have Saha and Glenn Murray will miss the start of next season. |

It's certainly going to be an interesting close-season for us and who we will try and bring in. First up though, Owen Garvan and Peter Ramage have signed new two-year deals. Link. |

Good news about Ramage and Garvan. They deserve a Premier League chance.

i've sobered up now... just!
![]() brilliant day on monday... a few of us got to wembley quite early to help build the atmosphere which was great... the 1st half was a bit dull but we picked it up really well in the 2nd half and i reckon if murray had of been playing we would have won the game in 90 minutes... top class penalty from super kev... ... so premier league here we come again, hopefully this time for more than one year! ![]() nice on to all the watford fans too, they have been most gracious since monday...

Very good - only wish that was all around in the late 90s/early 00s when we got to play-off finals (and won) or semi finals of the FA Cup.
Took some myself but was sat in the top tier (right in line with the foul) so probably not great quality but still worth taking. My mate who was a "netural" in our end got some really good close up pictures of your fans and the trophy presentation! He is a Plymouth fan (mixed feelings in Holloway..) - had to take him as he took me in 1996 when they got there! |

On the bbs (Palace forum) there is talk of us talking to a current premier league player today. Would love a couple of early signings to help me feel more confident.

Some of the early names we're being linked to include Charlie Adam, Peter Odemwingie, Carlton Cole, and Sylvan Ebanks-Blake (whom I think we tried to sign back in January)
We obviously need to get in a striker or two, a replacement for Zaha, and I'm hoping that we strengthen the defence, too. Promotion still hasn't really sunk in yet, I suppose it will really hit home when the fixtures are released and instead of it being Barnsley, Yeovil and Doncaster in the first three games it's Arsenal, Chelsea and Man United! |

Bit of a difference being linked with these types of players, compared to the usual Scottish second division journeymen.

danny gabbidon has signed a new 1-year deal... link.
other players we are being linked to apart from the one's mentioned in satt's post are andros townsend and jake livermore from spurs... darren bent, javier acuna and david vaughan... i think a key is going to be wages... someone like carlton cole or darren bent will have high wage demands so i doubt we'd see signings like that but ebanks-blake on the other hand would definitely be possible... btw, stephen dobbie will sign permanently once the transfer window officially opens. |

Not impressed really with those mentioned above , Ebanks Blake is far to slow & heavy for the Premier League , Carlton Cole is not really a regular scorer either , in my opinion we should not be looking at players who want a final big pay day , but players with ambition

... whether 1 season, 2 or 10 we are gonna enjoy it. the parr thread mentioned a couple of posts above is fantastic... i check it every day and it always makes me laugh... ![]() ... hoping we get a bit more activity on the new signings front this week, at the very least some concrete news instead of just rumour and speculation... |
