the reason why we've seen no signings so far...
Richard Cawley (South London Press) on Twitter: Steve Parish on the back of today's SLP. He's been pretty stunned at the demands of clubs when #cpfc have enquired about players. SP: At the moment we are just getting quoted stupid money. We have made enquiries and people have thought of a number - then doubled it. i guess that's the price of being a premier league club now.... |

Agents no doubt asking for silly money in terms of wages for their players too...
Apart from the big clubs with all the money its been quite quiet on the transfer front.. |

Thomas is a good winger, I'd be happy if we picked him up.

Spurs at home first up! Would have prefered that one away as we have a good record at The Lane.

Fee agreed for Dwight Gayle from P'borough according to 'Sky sources'.
Very highly thought of by Posh. Would be quite excited by that. |

Stephen Dobbie has signed for Palace, instead of just being on loan.

Gayle's fee reported to be £4.5m. Crikey, we really are Premier League if we're spending that kind of money now!

Not too surprised about Moritz. I hope it means more time in the middle for Williams!

Looks like you might sign Dan Gosling from Newcastle.
Was a good player at Everton but been injured for a while. |

Jerome Thomas has been confirmed. Link.
The pre-season game at Worthing this Saturday (13th) has been called off, although I think it was only going to be our youth side. First team pre-season so far is as follows... 20th July – Dag & Red (a) 3pm 23rd July – Gillingham (a) 7.30pm 27th July – Crawley (a) 3pm 3rd August – Waterford (a) 6pm 6th August – Dulwich Hamlet (a) 7.45pm |

The club, stadium and training ground under one ownership! It's been a while.
Our opening game against Spurs has been moved to Sunday for Sky. Sun (h), Man U (a), Ful (h), Ars (h) also moved. I'm already missing Saturday 3pm kick-offs. |

Blimey, 5 live games before the end of October! Has that ever happened to us before?! Annoying that 4 of them are at home. I'm not a fan of 12.45pm or 5.30pm kick-offs.
