1-0 at half-time. so far so good but we were in this situation last week and ended up losing.

Holloway confirms we have completed deals to sign Huddersfield full-back Jack Hunt and Reading winger Jimmy Kebe. and he hopes to have 3 more in by Monday.

Really enjoyed that game. Think Sunderland looked a far better team once Fletcher came on and had it not been for awful mistake by O'Shea it probably would have ended all square

Congrats, I really want Palace to stay up.

Swansea were rumoured to be interested in Jack Hunt, but I always assumed it was a joke for obvious reasons.

Well done Palace

Good win.

Shame you haven't got a game for 2 weeks now.

Obviously delighted with the win today. I have to be honest, I wasn't happy with the first 20 minutes of the second half, it was too similar to last week at Stoke and when Sunderland equalised I thought here we go again. But, credit to the lads for stepping it up and going on to get the 3 points. The third goal was sublime.

Jedi was fantastic once more, as was Ward and Puncheon. And really pleased for Gayle. Now that he has his first goal hopefully that eases some of the pressure on the lad.

Good news about the new signings, too.

Great display, goes, without saying that the Jedi was amazing but from front to back we looked really good today. I went with my arsenal season ticket holding mate who couldn't stop going on about the brilliant atmosphere, reckoned it would shame the emirates even tho the crowd is only about a third the size.

I was pleased for O'Keefe yesterday, and the atmosphere was incredible.

Yeah it was great. A lot of fun going to Selhurst right now.

Sounds like your signing Adrian Mariappa.

Decent player for us in the past - strong and athletic.

Quite small and certainly better as a central defender than right back.

just heard that too... would be a good signing. that's 2 defenders we've suddenly signed!

as for saturday, i really enjoyed the game... thought we played well for most of it, as satt says above we were a bit slow starting the 2nd half... but i was well pleased with the way we responded when it went to 1-1.

Mariappa is a decent enough signing.

We're currently in talks with Barry Bannon. At an advanced stage.

Edit: He's signed!

we've done alright so far... maybe another one or two in before 11pm?

meanwhile stephen dobbie has gone on loan to huddersfield for the rest of the season and the same deal for peter ramage but to barnsley...

Adlene Guedioura (currently at Forest) is apparently at the training ground for a medical.

This has been a crazy, crazy day.

But isn't it all a hell of a lot more fun when we're actively signing players?

EDIT: And just to add to the craziness...AJ maybe coming back?!

I know, I'm just not used to this! Usually these days just pass us on by!

Not sure about AJ, I love him but he is very injury prone of late.

Started this season well it seems, but yeah has had a lot of injuries since leaving us and you'd think it was a bit of a risky signing.

Having said that, if he did come back I couldn't promise not to be ridiculously excited.
