First things first - Kasami's goal. Bloody hell! I've been trying since last night to think of a better goal that I've seen at Selhurst in all the years I've been going there and I can't come up with any. It was sensational.

As for the match, we started off well, were knocking the ball about nicely but once again I just never had the feeling that we were any major threat in the final third.

Don't get Holloway's subs... again. He's coming across as clueless as some of the players at times.

So now it's Arsenal next. I was there at Anfield in 1989 for the 9-0. I'm already having disturbing flashbacks!

Nah - you'll probably win!

You started well but those 2 stunning strikers would have deflated you guys.

Not sure sacking Holloway would help unless you were able to get a proven manger in rather than just a merry go around type name.

when we took the lead i never expected that final scoreline... we were very unlucky to be behind at half-time but the 2nd half was mostly crap from us again...

kasami's goal was outrageous... absolutely sublime.

with arsenal losing tonight i can see them tearing us to shreds on saturday as they bounce back...

I wish I could believe you!

Our record against them is dismal to say the least. 26 league clashes. 16 defeats, 8 draws, and just 2 wins - once at home back in 1979, once away back in 1994.

I'm not holding out much hope (if any!) for Saturday.

That first Fulham goal was stunning. Think it sent everyone into shock!

We did look OK in the first half again, but it almost feels like game-over as soon as we concede. You never feel like we have the quality to get back into it.

Sounds like he's off I think. Anyone who has seen us this season can't be shocked surely?
Writing was on the wall after his quite pointless transfer dealings.
Who's next tho, I've heard tony pullis is worth a tenner at the bookies.

Just seen the breaking news on SSN. I'm not entirely shocked. It will be interesting to hear what Parish has to say and where exactly we go from here.

well i can't say i'm too sorry to see him go, he's done his best to undo all the hard work dougie had done previously but the timing is odd, i thought he would have got the season at the very least regardless of whether we stay up or not...

seems odd that both him and parish will be at the press conference... maybe he's being moved upstairs?

Can't see that but stranger things have happened. Most likely it's an amicable parting of the ways.

Some of the names being mentioned at BBS as a potential replacement are sending shivers down my spine!

Bah. Here we go again.

We've had more manager changes in my lifetime than I can count.

It's only a matter of time before one of us gets asked to take the role on!

Surprising timing , did not last a year , but you knew he was in trouble after a vote of confidence from Parish Monday night . Not a very impressive total of wins 12 out 40 league games not including Play Offs .

Favourite joke suggestion so far Florian Marange

Parish (via @Official_CPFC): "I've enjoyed every minute of working with Ian. He leaves our club with his head held very high.

"I'd like to put the record straight. We've never fallen out. We've worked together brilliantly. We feel we need to move on to progress."

Holloway - "We have a whole new group. I didn't like the way we played the other day. I am very tired. Am I the one with the energy left?
With the changes in the squad, I have to hold my hand up. We didn't keep the spirit that got us up. We changed too quickly.
I think someone with a tad more experience at this level. There are 30 more games left."
