Holloway brought in 14 players over the summer, something he admitted was a mistake.
He said: "I have pride in the job we've both done. It wasn't easy. If Steve's [Parish] last manager wasn't headhunted I wouldn't have been here.
"I have to hold my hand up and say we didn't keep the spirit that got us up. We changed too much too quickly."
He added: "Someone new coming in now with a tad more experience at this level will have 30 games left."

"I don’t know Tony and I’ve not spoken to him. I don’t know whether he wants to come and manage Crystal Palace," Parish said.

"There are some obvious names aren’t there? To not have a conversation with them, if they were happy to do that, would be silly.

Parish also confirmed the Palace board has already drawn up a long list of candidates to replace Ian Holloway.
Pulis has been installed as the early bookies favourite for the job, ahead of the likes of Neil Warnock, Roberto Di Matteo and Alan Pardew.

the press conference was quite hard to watch. not often you see such honesty and dignity these days.
not sure where we go from here. i don't like the sound of either Pulis or Grant. or Warnock for that matter, and i don't get the clamour for Di Matteo also.

Pulis would give the players, or at least certain players a kick up the arse, and would hopefully sort us out from a defensive point of view, but is he the answer long term? I'm not so sure.

Steve Parish, has said he wants a manager who has had premier league experience, apart from Pulis, i think they would struggle to get that.
What about Karl Robinson, it would give him a chance at the Premier League, and if things went wrong, he would still be managing at a higher level than at MK.
Of course penfold is another possibility

Spoken as a Stoke fan, You could do worse than Pulis. It may not be pretty, but it can be effective at keeping you up. Personally I would be concerned if you got him because it would potentially reduce the likelihood of you taking one of the relegation spots (making room for us).
This could be a bad one today.

lots of effort, some nice possession play but that's about it really... we have no goal threat whatsoever so what does the rest matter if you are never going to score?
