0-0 at half-time and I think we've done OK. A worry now Chamakh has gone off though, he was winning everything. Quote:
When will you rip up your season ticket now that it has been confirmed the ork leader has been confirmed as manager?

Yeah, we haven't done too badly. Just wish we had that cutting edge in the final third. What a difference that would make.

Get in! 1-0 it finishes. Bannon with the winner.
Brown pants time there right at the end but we deserved that overall IMO. |

![]() Will Millen be kept on under Pulis? He has done a very decent job of holding the fort. Certainly improved things from the shambles when Holloway left. |

Would like Millen to be kept on, he's got us far more organised recently. I think we expect Pulis to bring his own assistant, but maybe he'll stay as a coach. |

Pulis has given his first press conference:
"It's a club in the Premier League, it's a great club. It's going to be a tough job and I've not come in with any illusions. But looking at what has happened in the past few years at the football club, the chairman needs to be applauded. How far they have come to be in the Premier League in a few years is remarkable. "It was important that everything was right, we had three meetings together and thought it was right that Steve [Parish] spoke to other people. And for myself personally I am still very ambitious. I like climbing hills and this is going to be a tough job but one that I'll relish." "I've been very successful as a manager and it annoys me at times you do get pigeon-holed. My record is there for everyone to see. Everyone talks about not being relegated but I've got a few promotions. "There's an opportunity to wheel and deal in January. I spoke to the players today and I said we are underdogs but I know what it takes and hopefully I won't put this football club in trouble. "I've spoken to [predecessor] Ian [Holloway] a few times and you have to give managers who have taken on the club great credit. He said the club has great potential and you have to give them great credit." On speculation linking Blackburn Rovers striker Jordan Rhodes with a move to Selhurst Park: "I've not spoken to the chairman as yet about any players." Plus, Steve Parish... "You need to get it right. We weren't expecting Ian [Holloway] to go and you have to look at who is available and who is right for the club. We all want to stay in this division but if we get relegated we need to bring the manager in who is going to take the club back up and I wanted to get that right. "To just bring someone in to my football club who I've only met for half-an-hour is not long enough. With the luxury of the international break, I decided to take my time. I feel really positive about everything." |

I wish Tony Pulis (and Palace) all the luck in the world. He may have a reputation of being a dinosaur, but he can play to your strengths and make you very hard to beat. Just don't expect to be first on Match of the day any time soon

That's great news about Millen, I'm really pleased that he will remain part of the set-up.
Meanwhile, we have appealed against Bolasie's red card at Hull. |

full-time:
Norwich 1-0 Palace we shouldn't have lost that. we really need to sort out the goalscoring problem in January. that has to be priority. |

Does anyone know when Murray will be back? Obviously he can't save us all on his own, but if he can come back and score at least some goals this would encourage the whole team.

I can't help but wonder what kind of season we could have had if Murray had been fit from the start. I agree with Tusk above, Saturday was a game we should not have lost and probably wouldn't have had we a decent striker up front. Tomorrow night is massive. We simply have to win. |

another frustrating match on saturday... we did more than enough to earn at least a draw and failed because of the impotency in the final third... gptta hope pulis can sort that out.

Really good news about Jedinak.
West Ham tonight then, on TV, Allardyce vs Pulis - the ratings will be sky high.
