full time - Palace 1-0 Hammers

Chamakh with the winner. of course we did it the hard way again. both Jerome and Kebe with glorious chances where they should have scored. and finally we get a slice of luck with their disallowed goal which looked alright to me. Cardiff up next.

A clutch of players from both sides surrounding Ravel Morrison after he reacts to a collision with Joel Ward on the final whistle by shoving two palms into the face of the Palace defender.

He has lost his head entirely there and is a very, very lucky lad to only see yellow.

A big three points. Wasn't the prettiest of games and I expect we'll be saying that a lot under Pulis but we worked our socks off for the entire match and everyone played their part. Bannan once again was especially good.

Yeah, we got lucky with their disallowed goal but with all the bad luck that has gone against us so far this season we were long overdue a piece of good fortune.

Would be lovely to think the tide has turned but I'd feel more confident about things once we have some genuine goal threat.

good win last night... we worked really hard for that.

still trying to work out how kebe missed that open goal at the end though!

tonight's results went our way, things not looking so bad now and a win on saturday would really put us back in amongst the pack...

Pulis was the right appointment by a mile.

Sunderland's loss will be your gain.

Terrific performance (excluding the first 5 minutes!) Once again everyone worked their socks off and Chamakh and Jerome in particular stood out.

You can clearly see that the confidence and belief is back in the squad. And as Tusk mentions that's a 3rd clean sheet in 4 games. What a difference that has made!

A big win too considering we have Chelsea, Newcastle and Man City in our next 4 games.

Awesome run of form. Really proud of the players and the support which was second to none once again.

Two wins in a row is crazy.

Who knew Chamakh and Jerome would work so hard when they signed. They were fantastic again today.

not just a good win on saturday but probably our best all round performance for a fair while... if we can keep up this kind of form at home for the rest of the season then we may have a chance...

would have preferred a home draw in the cup... i wonder if pulis won't be too bothered if we go out at the first hurdle?

I hope we do take it seriously. I know the league is more important but a good cup run would be nice plus great for general morale.

Meanwhile, the games against Arsenal and Man United in February have been moved for TV coverage. Link.

Was really hoping for a smaller (and more local) team in the cup. West Brom away is one of those annoying draws that we always seem to get. Winnable, but tricky and very boring.

I'm concerned about today but not half as much as I am about going to The Etihad on the 28th! City's attack power is simply frightening!

Torres 1 Palace 0 after 16 minutes.

Chelsea 1 Palace 1 after 29 minutes. The first time that Chamakh has scored in three successive games in the league.

It is the battle of the much meligned strikers, Torres strikes first, but now Chamakh has equalised!

Good luck with the rest of the match!

We're doing alright. We definitely seem to be a different proposition of late.
