Our record against Arsenal is abysmal and because of that I'm being very pessimistic and hoping it's damage limitation. If we manage to get anything from today it will be a huge bonus.

Hope Joe Ledley can reproduce his Celtic form for Palace , some great goals in this clip . Looks like an excellent signing

Nice.

He is definitely the signing I'm most pleased about.

today's line-up:

Speroni, Ward, Gabbidon, Delaney, Parr, Bolasie, Dikgacoi, Jedinak, Puncheon, Chamakh, Jerome.

Subs : Hennessey, Mariappa, McCarthy, Bannan, Guedioura, Gayle, Wilbraham.

West Brom drew against Liverpool, so Palace are down to 17th.

A win against Arsenal would take us up to 11th (well, I can dream can't I?).

Fantastic support from the Palace fans at Arsenal today, sounds like a Palace home game. Must be the loudest fans in the Premier League.

we might not have the best team in the division but we can definitely make a case for having the best fans.

0-0 at half-time. i thought we'd be a bit more positive than that, though.

Well, we knew we weren't going to be too positive today but we really need to be better with our possession when we do get the ball. Both our first touches and passing have been very sloppy at times.

first time we go to sleep defensively we concede. I'd like to see Gayle come on now.

Not impressed today. Despite the defeats we played well at the Bridge, Etihad and the Lane and were unlucky to lose any of them. Today we've deserved nothing.

2-0 full-time. the expected defeat, but at least the GD didn't take a hammering. hopefully Ledley and Ince coming in next week will give us more impetus.

They were a different class completely. I did think Chamakh did well, he just didn't get a lot of help in attack though.

Despite the loss, it was a good away day.

remind me why we didn't bring in a striker before the deadline? ... it's ok being good defensively but we can't be relying on getting 1-0 wins...

today was meh... but it puts huge pressure on next saturday...

Tony Pulis mentioned in his interview that Glen Murray is having his second game on Monday and that Joe Ledley and Thomas Ince will score goals for us. Of course, if there had been a proven striker available at an affordable price no doubt he would have been snapped up.

Our new 25-man squad for the rest of the season has been submitted.

Good news is that Glenn Murray is in it.

Link.

squad definitely looks stronger now...

...some rumours around that murray could be on the bench this weekend, and if not this weekend then next...

Own up and who thought Pulis was a bit of an underwhelming appointment? I did and thought there was no chance Palace would stay up, looks like a different team compared to Holloway's.

got to admit I did have my doubts but he has transformed us.

full-time: Palace 3-1 WBA

Chamakh gets the 3rd from the spot. was a bit dicey at the start of the 2nd half and we have to thank Speroni for keeping as ahead. another big 3 points.

Cracking result! Great debut goals from Ince and Ledley (the latters header was a belter!)

It was a good game, both teams went for it. Defensively we were a bit shakier than we usually are, maybe because of the new faces? Speroni was on top form, his save from Sinclair in the second half at 2-1 was world class.

Best moment - Glenn Murray coming on for the final 20 minutes. Delighted to see him back, his presence could be vital for us in the run-in.

Feels great to score more than 1 goal in a match.

Quite liked the look of that attack. Ince had a superb debut - not only the goal, but a couple of quality corners too.

Was so hoping Murray would get a chance on goal towards the end there!

Ince would be a quality signing long term, Ledley has plenty of experience and with Murray back, to use cliche worthy of Jamie Redknapp, is like a new signing. Still a real scrap down there though, not seen a battle this tight in a long while.

I watched the match today on http://feed2all.eu/watch/238346/1/wa...ch-albion.html

So good to see new signings scoring goals and brilliant to see Glenn Murray playing again! I was there in spirit.

It's crazy. Crucially we still have to play Fulham, Cardiff, West Ham, Sunderland, Villa, and Swansea in our run-in.

So good to see him back and such a massive boost for the run-in. Suddenly our attack looks more potent.
