Jonny WIlliams off to Ipswich on loan.

If he's not gonna get games here then it's probably the right call in reality, but doesn't stop it being sad.

Yeah, I'm disappointed too. Only for a month but hopefully this doesn't lead to us listening to offers for him in the summer.

Hopefully he does really well and forces Tony Pulis to give him another go next season.

Oh and it's another boring Saturday without a game.

bit of an indifferent day for us... fulham and hull losing, but stoke winning... we really must start getting points from games we're not expected to... tomorrow would be a great time to do that...

Always nervous when we play Swansea , can't remember the last time we even looked like getting anything from them .

we really need something today IMO...

the team:

Speroni, Ward, Dann, Delaney, Parr, Dikgacoi, Jedinak, Ledley, Bolasie, Ince, Chamakh

Subs : Hennessey, Gabbidon, Bannan, Thomas, Gayle, Jerome, Murray.

No Puncheon or Murray makes me worry about our goal threat.

i worry about the goal threat every week

Good point.

Wasn't Ince wanted by Swansea in January? He'll score today, I can feel it.

yeah, I think it ended up being a choice between us and them.

hopefully Swansea are feeling a bit drained from their trip to Napoli on Thursday.

Hmm, losing 1-0 at half time. We've barely touched the ball.

easily our worst 45 under Pulis. it was complete garbage.

A much better half and a good point earned.

I love Glenn Murray.

Phew!

Shocking first half, much better in the second. Could be a big point that!

So pleased for Murray.

We pulled out in the end, fans were booing him every time he had the ball today - think it was because of his interview i the week!

Overall a fair result - we dominated the first half and you dominated the second. We looked awful, not ourselves at all can only guess the layers were tired.

A surprising result after 1st half display . Happy with a point & also that Pulis has said that Thomas & Chamakh will be fined for diving .

dare I say a game of 2 halves! at half-time it was only a question of how big our defeat was going to be. much improved in the 2nd half, we played with much more purpose and intent.
great to see Murray stick that penalty away. and as usual our fans were top class.

Cardiff and Norwich losing was a bonus too.

got away with that yesterday... if it wasn't for swansea wanting to score the perfect goal all the time in the 1st half the game would have been over at the break...

...not sure why pulis set us up like that at the start, it was so negative, we looked so much better with the tactical change in the 2nd half... hopefully we stay more positive in the run in and stop showing so much respect to the opposition...

today's line-up:

Speroni, Ward, Dann, Delaney, Moxey, Dikgacoi, Jedinak, Ledley, Puncheon, Bolasie, Murray

Subs : Hennessey, Gabbidon, Bannan, Thomas, Ince, Gayle, Jerome.

we've got a poor record against the Saints of late so I'm apprehensive today.

full-time: Palace 0-1 Saints

abysmal. what a time to put in a dire performance like that.

Both teams we pretty crap, but I think a point would have been fair.

The big problem is you never feel like we're gonna create anything, so as soon as we give them a goal it's almost game over.

That's it in a nutshell and it's a major issue. How are we expected to win games if we are incapable of not just scoring goals but actually creating the chances in the first place. It's a real worry and more so now as our survival in this league clearly hinges on the away games we have left rather than the home.

Today was so very flat. There never seemed any urgency to our play, it was like watching a pre-season friendly at times.

Hopefully Hull/Sunderland tomorrow ends up all square and goes to a replay - the more Cup games Sunderland get distracted by the better.

that was garbage today... i don't get why the likes of puncheon & kg keep getting games whilst the likes of bannan and gayle remain on the bench at best...

...the only way we will stay up is if 3 teams continue to be worse than us results-wise and not because we start playing more attacking football, scoring goals & winning games...

you may well be right on that one. we need to stop trying to play for draws although I suppose the irony there is I will take a draw on Saturday right now.
