joel ward gets my vote.
I didn't realise how much the bloke (Ward) is built like a brick sh-thouse until Cardiff. The lady steward next to me was impressed. |

Joel Ward gets my vote, too.
And he'll get it for the main award, also, just ahead of Delaney. Both have been outstanding this season. |

Yep Ward for me too. He's looked the most suited to this league throughout the season.
Although 24 seems pretty old for Young Player if the Year.

I'm going with my son and dad tomorrow who happen to both be huge Liverpool fans.
Last time I went to a home game on April 27th which happens to be my birthday we were relegated live on sky by Man U so I'm hoping tomorrow goes a little better. |

Yeah, I'm not quite understanding that. How is that considered young?
Enjoy the day. I reckon these next two home games are going to be great occasions regardless of the results.

Could be a difficult afternoon - Palace 0 Man City 1 after 4 minutes.

We're in holiday mode! Disappointing for the game, but bloody fantastic that we can afford to be already.

That early goal killed us. But as you say Joooe, it's great to be in that position where defeat yesterday or against Liverpool next week has no effect on our survival.
That said, I'm with Tusk above, I want us to put on a performance at the Cottage. |

the game was a bit of an anti-climax in the end... i agree about the early goal, if we hadn't of conceded that early we might not have switched off and started thinking about beaches etc... hopefully we don't do that against liverpool and fulham...
... i see that super kevin phillips is retiring... he may have only had a short spell with us but if it wasn't for his sublime penalty last may we wouldn't be where we are now... good luck to him. |

Tony Pulis named a Barclays Manager of the Month for April.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/27252682 When do they announce the Manager of the Season? |

Delighted for Vincent Tan, a job well done.
Next week might be a bit odd. Will the Fulham fans also be in a party mood now for their farewell? |

Yes, good luck.
I was fairly neutral in Man City vs Liverpool, but with so much rubbish coming from the Liverpool end ( the standard overtriumphalism followed by super whinging ) culminating in that meally mouthed whinging sorry speel by Brendan Rodgers ( a guy I normally have quite a bit of time for ) after the Chelsea match ( we don't do it like that etc ), go on Palace, go on City ! As for you lot, what a job Pullis has done. Definitely manager of the season if Liverpool don't win the league ( see, I do appreciate what Rodgers has done ). |
