Thankfully I don't watch Britain's Got Talent.

As for Alesha doing both SCD and BGT once she signs for BGT (if she does) there is no chance the Beeb will renew her contract for SCD.

Would love to see Ian as the 4th judge then replace with Len with a professional femalr/
Nice one. Agree totally

Jason vs Craig would be great for Ratings
Definitely NOT. If they replace Alesha it should be with another female judge.

Go on.....you made me giggle.

I can't think of one single positive feature about her and her judging role. I still fume that Arlene, with all her years of skill, talent and knowledge was sacrificed for that inarticulate, unprofessional common chav.
Ouch! But I SO agree. It was the ultimate insult to a woman of immense professional standing and to an established audience who watched SCD precisely because it WASN'T the X-Factor.

I thought her juding improved in the last two series'.
Alesha discovered after her first year that her key to popularity lay in:

seeing no evil
congratulating everyone
giving marks like confetti.

Sorry - I'm a massive ballet fan and go whenever I can, but I didn't think Darcey worked at all on SCD. She comes from a completely different world and just looked out of place. Think she was a bit of a distress purchase when Alesha was so obviously going down like a lead balloon.
I do agree but I could gaze and gaze at Darcey.....her posture alone when she was sat at that judges desk was awe inspiring. I suppose it was a bit like putting a diamond in a sea of turds......it was never going to look right.

And yet despite doing all three she still remained the least liked and respected judge.

Yes didn't you know this? She was with Misteeq originally. 'The Boy does nothing' from 'The Alesha Show' reached number 5 in the UK charts.

Great news ..... let's hope they get someone with a bit of knowledege to replace her, someone who doesn't just hand out 10's like they are going out of fashion.

She won't get very far on BGT if she does that. Cowell will expect her to have a deep reservoir of nastiness to draw upon and spew.

Alesha was never hired for her 'technical expertise' she was a voice of the public, she understood the process and proved herself as a damn good panelist
---------

Oh don't be ridiculous - she was closer to a joke in my opinion.

Alesha was getting too old for the BBC.

I suspect she will be replaced with somebody off TOWIE.

Wow! Sort of on a par with Streisand then, really?

I think they should get a recently retired actual professional competitive ballroom or latin dancer. Not anyone we know from Strictly, a totally new face to those telly watchers who are not a part of the actual real world of ballroom and latin.

Good luck to Alesha, moving to Syco. She's a braver bird than me.

One only has to recall how she spoke to Craig Kelly in Blackpool to know that she has the appropriate quality in spades.

I know he was awful but the contempt that oused out of her as she spoke to him will see her fit right in with SC and BGT.

So, I think the BBC will choose one of these:

Karen Hardy - if it is going to be a professional dancer, let's face it, it's going to be her.
A former winner (e.g Kara) - to carry on the trend of a former winning celebrity as a judge.
Arlene Phillips - and pretend the whole 'ageism' row never happened.
Jennifer Grey - god forbid, but knowing the Beeb...

I suppose it was a bit like putting a diamond in a sea of turds
Scientifically, specific gravity is defined as a ratio of the mass of a given material to the mass of an equal volume of water at 4 degrees centigrade...3.52 for diamond
Please do not put Darcey our diamond in a sea lest she sinks.

Regardless of turds on either side.

Loved SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE and livid with BBC for axing it, but I didn't think Louise was up to much.

She's just using BGT to get on the Syco machine and one step closer to XFactor next year, where I believe she wanted to be in the first place. 2012 plan to relaunch music career? She is very good friends with Gary Barlow.

The opening sequence could have Arlene stepping out of a shower and saying....?

The very idea of Arlene Phillips in the shower puts me off that idea

I wonder if Arlene knew something we didn't as she has been very vocal on Twitter over the New Year especially how 2012 is going to be a fab year.
