Dog flatulence! Any advice?

Our family dog - a 4 year old huskamute (husky x malamute) has a really bad flatulence problem!
Does anyone have any good tips on how to reduce it?!

Tried charcoal biscuits & they didn't help, as well as putting him on a "posher" food brand - we tried that James Wellbeloved dog biscuits. But none of it seems to have helped!

Stop giving him turkey over the Christmas peiod

Seriously though - check the packaging of various dried complete foods - I know that some do claim to reduce flatulence - My daughter uses one for her Mastiff, and it seems to work.
Sorry, can't remember the brand though

Harringtons say they reduce flatulence, it... doesn't completely, but they don't smell so bad

avoid iams if you don;t care for the odour, as the dog i walk is on this and she's a stink butt.

i think a dollop of live yoghurt is said to help with it, but i can;t remember how true that is

Our first husky Akuma had bad flatulence and he was fed on James wellbeloved until his final year or so (still had bad flatulence on new food!) we tried the usual things aswell to no avail, some dogs seem to just be real smelly bums.

Our new boy is the opposite!

Some dogs gulp down air as they eat if yours does that then placing a large pebble in the middle of the bowl or feeding using a kong to slow down the gulping might help. Also look at treats ours have a lot of vegetables so tend to be a bit windy but we don't see that as a huge problem if we did we woud obviously keep them off the sprouts !

having two dogs for 17 years my only advice is to open a window.

Try using charcoal tablets they are stronger than charcoal biscits (small pot is couple of quid from boots!) that we use for near enough the same thing, my parents use it for the 6 dogs that have same problem
