I would say Karen Hardy, but then it wouldn't be too handy for me if they picked her - I could no longer fast forward the entire judges' section!
Lilia, Erin or Camilla would also be fine by me. At least the judge should be a (female) dancer!

Me.

O.K. I find the act of judging daunting

and I'd have to spend the next nine months studying the finer points of technique and form

and I'll have to get my hair (what's left of it) under control-no more quick shampoo in the morning and drip-dry

but I'll be tactful in my critique and, unlike three-quarters of the current panel,I will not be influenced by 'fit' blokes taking their shirt off thus restoring some much needed balance to the panel.

They probably should.

Karen Hardy would be perfect, she's got to be in line for it as they even made her a part of the Saturday show in the red button commentary which they'll give to Ian Waite.”

He knows nothing. But Alesha wasn't exactly British Ballroom Champion either was she ?

The BBC might cut costs and just go for three judges perhaps?

I think we're all missing the obvious candidate. Chelseeee.

Now I adore Chelsee but a role that requires her to think and speak at the same time is never going to happen.

The Jordans - assuming one of the male judges moves aside (Len for USA or Craig to replace Bruce ?)

Hope we don'y get landed with Biffa Cole.

I would imainge that it would be a woman, so Karen would be great ... IF, however they go down the route of having an ex-contestant, maybe Zoe .... maybe Dr Pam (yikes)

Any of these or Arlene back for me.
Can't say I'm sad about Alesha's departure although I've nothing personal against her. She was out of her depth.
Whoever it is MUST be female and have a dance background, though. Absolutely essential if the show is to keep its credibility.

We all want a professional dancing instructor, but the BBC will probably give us a **** like Russell Grant for "entertainment purposes".

Camilla or Erin or even Arlene would be good. Other than that anyone other than Karen Hardy - I'd rather have Simon Cowell than her.

Shirley is a good call - but I doubt the BBC would want that as then all the judges would be over 45.

In any poll I definitely think there should be an option for "no replacement." In this new age of austerity, this is an opportunity for the publicly funded BBC to save a hundred grand or two!

They've been lining up Darcey Bussell for a while - that's probably why Alesha quit

Erin or Camilla would be my picks. Karen's got too much into the habit of praising pretty much everything on ITT, it's starting to annoy me. It wouldn't surprise me if she got the job though.

As long as it's not Darcey Bussell or Jennifer Grey though - they were both dreadful!

Karen, Lilia, Camilla or Ian (but I'd prefer it to be a woman so the panel isn't all male).

She's an international Latin dance champion and mother to DWTS professional Mark Ballas.
