its unusual for him to have to sort them out, its done for these lot, will tell you another useless bit of info the magazines that go with the papers at weekend if the paper company inserts them in the newspaper they charge £1 per paper, so shop emplys someone at £6 per hour to do it nuts aint it

It is thanks anyway Sue I wasn't aware of all the rules so I will have to make sure I check his contract thoroughly when he brings it home his hrs pay and so on will be on there and it has to be countersigned by his teacher. He has been covering a big round this week due to sickness but hopefully the round he ends up with will be much smaller and he will get to school on time as I am driving him to school at the moment

By muckers and loys do you mean the extreme elements of the differing fan bases? if so differences? for me? irony mainly, humour and how it's used, a kind of moral stance that comes through in their posts and is also shown in how they treat the weaker/less intelligent kid so to speak who doesn't always get it, point of view that's equally scathing of everyone's hypocrisies


I think it's excused more because people have less to go on so they can ascribe emotions/feelings to him that might not exist in reality. With Josie most of her emotions/feelings are out there in black and white so she comes in for more criticism as a result.


I think when you set out with the intention of excluding or singling out people an inevitable consequence is that some people may end up feeling excluded. John used to know that and be against it be he's chosen by posting on loys forever to do that, to single out a couple of hundred of his fans to talk to and give his attention to, I understand his reasons but it doesn't change anything does it. It's not the same with Josie because she talks regularly to all her supporters on twitter too.

The bulk of John's 160K+ supporters don't belong to loys forever and aren't allowed to join which also in and of itself wouldn't be a problem except people from there also can't seem to help but comment when he's been on talking to them or moles leak information/posts so again it sets up a them and us seperation which probably also creates some resentment or disappoint in other genuine fans of John who would also like to have the opportunity to chat with him or hear something about his life now, it's those people I feel the most sorry for and it's because a few idiots have spoilt and continue to spoil things for the many :/

I agree with you on this, its become almost cultish definitely exclusive and while not interested myself, perhaps for those who are, they may feel as you say resentful and excluded. Perhaps those who moderate the fan bases both muckers and loys could be a bit more savvy and take a long look at their actions, it might go a well way to resolving at least in part the problem that exists. I cant believe grown people can act so irrationally.

Must say i agree, especially the last paragraph.
When John and his friends set up sandloysss (whatever it was called) i am sure they did not want to exclude anyone.
As it has turned out , the reason for exclusion is the fact that you are a Josie fan too.
I do not understand the misconception of some who dont
think it is possible to support both equally.
I do, and i would like to have had the opportunity of following on FB.
But when you have the likes of some on there i know my request would be denied so i never bothered.
Reading John's time line there is a little group of loys that are pouring poison in John's ear all the time and this shows me that they would do anything yes anything to stop John and Josie ever even becoming friends again.
Tell me how can you support someone and yet try to shape their lives.

I would just like to point out i am neither a mucker or a loy but
i do follow Josies FB group.
Dont post but do get as much news of Josie as i can.
I am sure that they are aware i support John too
but they have never shut me out.
I did post twice come to think of it,

Well Said Killing Time. For me it is not that this groups exist, it is the way they conduct themselves that makes them 'sad' to put it politely. If you can't see the difference between qwerty and Muckers and loys then you fail to appreciate Irony, Satire, Sarcasm.

I follow people who might have some news but why would anyone in the know actually want to share the information? but even knowing that I follow all those accounts that claim to know the truth. Afternoon Shem and anyone else around, must say some good posts this morning, i am not a member of either group, that's because i don't wish to be, i'm quiet happy to stay here, saying that if the only news about John comes from the loys FB (leaked by a mole or whatever ) i'm happy to here it just to know he's doing ok but i would never go looking for it myself, as for Josie the news is always out there so no need to look. I don't get into the big debates on here, it's not because i don't want to, it's because my brain works quicker than my fingers and again i'd type what i wanted the subject has usually passed whilst saying that other people put things so well i just tend to agree when some posts say what i'm thinking maggi x

Hey lovely I'm on both groups and can truthfully say that the people on loys and muckers are mostly lovely. I can't speak for any individuals twitters though as I don't follow most from either group.

The admins know I like both and continue to support them separately. And I think there must be others in my position on both groups. I don't get on FB very much at all so I am barely on either. When I do get to say hi everyone has been so nice to me. So I don't know what the criteria is really for a person to be accepted on either group. Every request is considered.

I don't consider myself a mucker or loy though as I am my own person.. I don't want to be labelled as anything.

I can understand you having a positive opinion because you have been included and accepted for your unique opinions, others amongst us haven't and I resent (as I'm sure John would) people excluding and holding power to exclude and judge other people when really they have no right doing that. I did used to be a member of the muckers but only because they accepted anyone (as the loys should) but Josie speaks on twitter so there didn't seem much point. I don't want to be a member of a fan community and suck up to people that hold power, who's behaviour I often abhor, just so I can be thrown a few scraps of information. So until they change their ways, many of Johns fans will be excluded and what that will mean I don't know.
