I did:-
"She had no one else to blame. He was missing, he was gone, no one had seen the likes of him, and no one knew it was her fault. "He promised to love you" said the voice in her head "and you made him disappear" He was the gentle nudge on her heart, everytime something went wrong in her life. "I would have loved you" he so often reminded her, for his absence spoke louder than words. "You didn't want me." She didn't know what to say, because she never knew what to say. She couldn't communicate, she couldn't tell him that she was afraid. She was afraid of him, she was afraid of his love, and so she had cast him away with a few pretty lies - cast him so far away that no one found him again. He was a lost abyss, an aching soul taking up residence in the wrong heart. While she, while she found a layer of happiness, a surface happiness that carried her through her days. She smiled and she laughed, and she forgot. Forgetting is the worst infliction, she knew, but she forgot anyways and went on with her life going through the motions like she didn't break herself while breaking him. Because she was broken, completely broken, and she had no one else to blame."
