As some people will know, Twists and Sequins first hit the scene over in the Strictly Come Dancing Forums near the start of 2011, as 'DS Strictly Twists and Sequins'
It quickly became very successful and ran for a full 7 series and even had a Champions Special and an Awards Ceremony. Now we have seen it return but as 'Twists and Sequins ON ICE', which saw _NiallDEE_ & Melanie Lambert win the first series just before christmas
With Dancing On Ice due back on our screens on ITV1 soon, it is now time to open up the application process for contestants for Series 2
So if you would like to take part in DS Twists and Sequins On Ice, please let me know. Get applying people before all the places are filled up ............... The date of the next series' launch is yet to be confirmed but it will be very soon.
Our already champion of Strictly Twists and Sequins................. footygirl (Suzy), will again be fulfilling her brilliant and vital role as co-host
Just for newcomers who are unaware, the game will follow the same basic format of Dancing On Ice, so there wont be any confusion. However there will also be (like with the TV series) numerous twists to add suspense and excitement so that the game has a different take than the other contests seen on the forums in the past. You will all be paired with a skating pro from the show. Each night you will all be asked to select a song to skate to and to PM that song to me. Each night may have a certain requirement, for example a theme, which you would have to consider when making your song selection. That will determine the scores you receive from the judges, judging by the suitability of the song you have chosen. If you choose 'Wheres Your Head At' from Basement Jaxx when the theme is 'love songs' then you are unlikely to score well with the judges for example. Then after each show the voting will open and people will be able to rank the contestants from favourite to least favourite. After this the results will be announced as to who has made it through.
