Trying to find a song!
At New Years Eve a song was played and I am trying to find what it was.
I remember it has an introduction of a keyboard being played quite fast only the keyboard at the start (sounds like a slot machine at a fairground!) followed by the guitar then drums! I think it is from the 80's and is rock. I can't remember the lyrics, but it may have started with something like "up here" or "right here in the morning" I thought it might have been a Van Halen song, but it's not. I know this is very vague, but any suggestions much appreciated! |

It turned out to be Baba O'Riley (Teenage Wasteland) by The Who!

That's a lot older (1971) than the Van Halen thing, much better band as well and it's used as the theme to CSI:New York in a modified form. You should get Who's Next because it also has Won't Get Fooled Again, probably nowadays known as the theme to CSI:Miami! |
