Think I've heard of three of them, didn't this show have celebrities on it once?

they've just been on This Morning, apart from Chesney and Schofe has said he's injured and they still aren't sure if he's gonna be able to take part or not

Is Charlene Tilton starring in the new Dallas? I'm looking forward to seeing her, she is on CBS Drama in the old Dallas re-runs at the moment.

I'm sorry but I burst out laughing when I saw Big Mo in her costume. But kudos to her for doing the show.

I'm excited about the new series, it looks like a good bunch. Not sure who I'm supporting yet, think I'll have to wait and see how they do... Sam & Mark made me laugh on This Morning earlier though, I'm looking forward to seeing them.

That DM article says Jorgie is 23 but I read another article the other day which said she was 24. The only reason I remember that because I was really surprised at the time, I thought she was about 16!

Well, I have to admit to knowing 5 names out of this line-up, with one of them being a possible no go due to injury. My favourites (on paper only) are Heidi and Chemmy, with Chesney an outsider if he competes. If Chesney is a no go, do you think there will be a reserve or just go with one less?

Gutted that Chesney might not be taking part.

I've heard of 4 celebrities Mainly because I despise soaps and don't watch them

I'm disappointed that Colin and Michael aren't back, they were great additions last year Hopefully they'll do a Matt and return next year

I'm kind of nuetral at the moment, since I don't know any of them, but I'll make my mind up once the first show airs

Given Cheggers already pulled out with injury I doubt there is now another reserve in the line up if he has to withdraw.

Overall I think this year's line up is good, much better than last year's and thankfully no wags, wannabees or famous for being famous types.

I have looked at the clips on the website - I'm not sure these tell us too much as they are brief and think they were shot early on in training but those that looked quite good to me were Matthew, Jorgie, Chemmy, Sebastien & Andy A. I think we'll only be able to tell properly who's good though is when we see them doing full routines.

I think Sebastian will place highly

Matthew and Corey both looked pretty good on their skating vids.

No Colin this year? Crushed. Who will I stare at when the show becomes dull two weeks in?

In the world that is Dancing on Ice, are these people really regarded as celebrities? I may be middle-aged but they are mostly virtually unheard of to a mainstream audience. Not even Z-listers!

So agree - this line-up is incredibly poor. Perhaps it's so that Christine Beakey can be the most famous person on the show. Oh apart from god Phillip of course.

I've heard of pretty much of all of them

Surely Chloe Madeley has a brother kicking about somewhere that they could have scooped up?

Not really. Obviously not everyone will be well known to the general public, and if you don't have kids, it's not surprising if you don't know the kids presenters, and if you don't watch the soaps, you won't know the soap stars etc. Or if you don't follow winter sports, you won't have heard of Chemmy etc, but this year's lot all have a legitimate claim to fame, unlike some of last year's lot.

I wouldn't say it's vintage. It's not got any really high profile sporting stars, but Chemmy is still the UK's top woman skiier, whether or not it is a sport that gets a lot of media attention. You don't consider Ski Sunday a dodgy tv programme do you?

I am most interested to see Chemmy and Jennifer, Chemmy should have a good understanding of edges and balance and I think Jennifer's many years training as a ballet dancer teamed with Daniel's experience could make them contenders.

Brooke Castile is an interesting addition as she has had much more success internationally then most of the other skaters and certainly much more recently. She was US pairs champion in 2007 and I think Bronze 2008 and competed in World championships those seasons, She was certainly still on the international team in 2009 as I saw her compete at Oberstodorf. Not sure how she will be working with a complete novice but as a skater she is excellent.

I actually think the line-up's great. Sparkle is right, at least this lot are all famous for SOMETHING, and I think there's a little something for everyone in there - your soapies, your sports fans, your 80s nostalgia types etc. Being all three, I'm in heaven

Sad not to see Colin, Michael, Isabelle (girl crush thwarted) or Katie in the pro line-up, but delighted to see that Nina and Sean appear to have decent partners this year after their no-hopers last time out. Still waiting for the year Alexandra gets someone decent

Laila Morse to win! I think it's a poor lineup personally.

Maybe just me, and maybe just coincidence, but I am seeing some character paralells with SCD in this DOI lineup - e.g. Jorgie being a bit Chelsee-like in that she is bubbly and a bit child-like (not in a bad way) and Chesney being a bit Harry-like in that he's more quiet and reserved. Both seem to have potential too and I hope Chesney recovers and competes.

Where have you been? They're all famous for something!
