Looking at it from Cowell's perspective it seems an odd move. The message boards of those newspapers read by people who regularly watch BGT are howling with rage at her appointment, seeing her as a Strictly failure. Personally, I still think she was pushed but I think she will do better on BGT where she has better credentials and will not be at such a disadvantage.
She's quoted as saying it wasn't about the money. If it wasn't then she is more stupid than I thought. It should be. Realistically, she has a limited career options/longevity, Simon Cowell is not known for being a supportive employer and the BGT may be reaching the end of its life. Curious story, this one the more I look at it. And I really shouldn't be 'cos I should be working.

) I can well imagine the promises that Simon has made to Alesha and I hope she benefits, because unlike so many on here, I have no axe to grind with Alesha, I wish her well - I just fear for her in the long term.
