Hi there...

Instead of getting a My Curl (previous post), i have been looking at curling wands and they look much simpler to use.

However I have looked at the Babyliss site and seen a waving wand AND a curling wand.

I know that there are differences between curls and waves and the stylers are a different shape, but now I am torn as to which one to get...

Do any of you guys use either styler? What are the pros/cons etc. Thank you x

The waving wand would be better for those hairstyles!

I have the curling wand. It is amazing at doing the bits of my hair that refuse to curl.

Is a curling wand the same as curling tongs ? I use the latter if I want big hair for a night out, and they really give a long lasting finish, especially if you use something like Shockwaves mousse in your hair after washing it. They do get really hot though, so I wouldn't use them frequently.

I went for a curling wand in the end, will I still be able to achieve those looks?

Possibly. You'd have to wrap your hair around the widest part of the wand to get a loose curl.
