I have just been listening to my music on itunes and i reckon the last year has seen some of the catchiest songs ever released, for instance;

- Calvin Harris (Feel So Close, Bounce)
- Example (Stay Awake)
- Katy B (Lights On, Broken Record)
- Flo Rida (Good Feeling)
- All of David Guetta's stuff
- Rihanna (We Found Love, What's My Name)
- Katy Perry (Last Friday Night, Firework)
- Jennifer Lopez (On The Floor)
- Lloyd (Dedication To My Ex)
- Rizzle Kicks (Mama Do The Hump, Down With The Trumpets)
- Maroon 5 (Moves Like Jagger)
- Labrinth (Earthquake)
- Britney (Till The World Ends)
- Foster The People (Pumped Up Kicks)
- Emeli Sande (Heaven)
- Pitbull (Give Me Everything)
- Nicki Minaj (Super Bass)
- Nero (Promises, Guilt)

Do people agree with my top songs (in no particular order) and do people have any other CATCHY songs that they reckon i could download?

I'm not saying you should download it, but One Direction's 'What Makes You Beautiful' is quite catchy

Also, two of the catchiest songs from 2011 have got to be Olly Murs 'Heart Skips A Beat' and JLS' 'She Makes Me Wanna'! And maybe that 'I Need A Dollar' song

But the MOST catchy song ever for me, is Eric Saade's 'Popular'! Give it a listen

Definitely Moves Like Jagger, We Found Love and Good Feeling for me as the catchiest songs of the year.

If we're talking catchy songs from the past year then I think All Fired Up by The Saturdays is pretty catchy, hardly any lyrics other than 'All fired up, I feel alive' throughout the song. You might like that... but then again you might not.

"What Makes You Beautiful" is definitely catchy. Certainly the guilty pleasure of 2011. Everyone I know who shouldn't like it likes it.

1-2-3 - Gloria Estefan and Miami Sound Machine.

I remember annoyingly having that song on loop in my head during many study periods!

Come on people the most catchy song ever has to be Daydream Believer by The Monkees. Every time I hear it, it gets stuck in my head for about a week.

I can't decide on catchiest songs ever! But my extremely catchy track of the day is:

Poe - Walk The Walk

Seriously I've been jamming to this track for years now, it's a TUUUNE.

Yoko Ono - Yes, I'm a Witch (Feat. Brother Brothers)
Amy Studt - Nice Boys
Harry Nilsson - Coconut
Paul Simon - When Numbers Get Serious

All of these are fabulous catchy songs as well, listen!

It's a question of an easy-to-hum hook. I cannot count the times my elderly boss has walked into work humming "Rah rah ah ah ah, roma ro ma ma, ga ga ooh la la" hahah

Bad Romance
Moves Like Jagger
Ooh Stick You (Your mama, too)
Hey Ya
**** You
What you waiting for?
Can't get you outta my head
Poker Face
4 Minutes
What Makes you Beautiful

Various others that either have a cheese-pop set of simple chords, hooks made up of nonsense words (or whistling) etc.

Formulised by scientists, it has been concluded that Queen's We Are the Champions song is the catchiest song ever. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/arti...cientists.html is the link to the Daily Mail article.
