According to This Morning Sylvain will be out for at least 12 weeks from when he injured himself so I doubt he will appear at all considering DOI is usually 10/11 weeks they wouldn't just bring him back for the semi/final would they?

Also apparently Chesney Hawkes is injured and may not compete do you think they will replace him or just start with 14?

If Chesney isn't ready for the first week, they might give him a week off and start with 14, then give him the chance to return. If he's still injured after a couple of weeks, they'll replace him. They can't afford to lose a skater in the grand scheme of things, but IMO, the opening few shows would benefit from having one less skater.

They might split them into 2 groups like last year. Sometimes they have all men one week, and all women the next.

They've split the opening show into two weeks for the last three years - S3 was a male/female split, and S5 & S6 were a mixed split - so my guess is they'll be doing that again this year. I would imagine they'll schedule Chesney for the second week and either that will be enough time for him to recover or it will give the reserve more time to rehearse, as all the other contestants will be weeks ahead of the reserve.

How come they haven't bothered to update the details for the photoshoot and publicity.

Surely ITV could have amended that - and got a new photo done of Heidi and Andrei (instead of Sylvain). Unless of course Heidi's opening VT will be mainly about Sylvains injury and her dealing with a new partner at the last minute?

Anyway, Heidi is all on her own on the website now as presumably they don't have any decent pics of her with Andrei! If she's lonely I could keep her company. Sorry, couldn't resist!
