Len, understandably , doesn't know what the show is now about. Probably as the producers are making it up as they go along. He's usually marking as if the contestants are doing series 4 routines instead of something simpler, shorter, less technical and more focused on entertaining to get votes. He's not even consistent at that though - as he still gives anything a 5, upwards , still has his old biases, and randomly goes with the flow and marks up entertainment. More importantly, his comments are getting dangerous - he's getting very near to breaching the watershed or causing a major incident.
Bruno has expanded, literally, into the judging space left by Craig toning done his negativity. Thats his role I imagine. Behind the gushing, he's there as someone who can adjust the scoreboard excesses and ease the right people out of the show. You can't complain at him for doing exactly what he's paid to do.
Craig is more problematic. He's started throwing in more positive points and less negativity and still provides the realistic marking. However, he still is overly negative at times, and its not at all clear if what he says is for panto effect, or if its whats intended or wanted. Sometimes he's been as rude, counterproductive, damaging and unacceptable as Len at his worst or Jason on DOI (his comments on Alex's ability to be sexual being a big example of how to get it very wrong) His marking also looked inconsistent towards the end - as he joined in the flow of 10s which didn't reflect the same standards he had been keeping to for the rest of the series. As he didn't match his marks to his comments with some people, or explain other marks, he ended up raising questions what he was marking for.
