(**) on last chart of 2011.

Pretty Reckless was on the first chart of 2011 as a new entry so doesn't get any extra points in from 2010.

Fatty Gets A Stylist were Kate Miller-Heidke and Keir Nuttall. They did however subsequently withdraw this and re-issue it credited to Kate alone. Therefore if you are looking for "Are You Ready" to listen to, look under Kate Miller-Heidke's name as the artist.

I'm surprised to see a cover version of Candy Shop by 50 Cent at #213. It seems very out of place compared to all the other songs on this list, but then I listened to the cover and it's completely different to 50 Cent's version! Although I prefer the original, I qutie like the Baseballs version. It's funny.

(**)129 Love To Love You - Sophie
128 Gary Glitter Fan Convention - Bitter Springs

Those marked (**) are still in the chart, although Seapony has dropped as far as #83 and will probably not spend any weeks in the chart in 2012. Being a Christmas song, New Underground Community Choir will probably disappear fairly quickly from #23, but Sophie, who stands one place lower, may hang around just a bit more.

And now time for a video:

Bring Back Top Of The Pops - One Man And His Beard would be #85 in 2010 and #91 in 2011. The single peaked at #6. During 2010, One Man And His Beard was originally going to mass-release throughout the year but stopped after a handful of releases. He did come back though with a couple of others, this being one of them. Right at the end he holds a note for absolutely ages.

Abby Travis - Mr Here Right Now doesn't get a video here because she spent just one week in the chart in 2010 at #33, and would only rise to #123 for 2011.

104 Can't Keep Johnny Down - They Might Be Giants
103 Liar In The Room - Successful Failures
(**)102 Carol O Carol - New Vorder
101 New Tomorrow - A Friend In London

I probably posted this last year but

The French Word For Love - Blood Oranges

It finished #34 of the year in 2010 when it reached #1 just before Christmas, but adding in its 2011 points too would lift it to 15th. Still fairly low for a #1 but it was only 1 point behind the two above it. In 2011 it would also come 15th.

The Devil Came Down The Chimney - Ed Harcourt
He had a string of hits especially in the early 2000s and one of them "Apple Of My Eye" went top 10. This entered on the Christmas chart of 2010 then continued to climb in 2011 up to #7 even though, being a Christmas song, it should rightfully have stopped at its entry position. Still it's a very good song. The video is a live version though. It would rise to #94 adding in its one week of 2010.

100 The Truth That Ran Us Down - Colenso Parade

99 The Aces Are Coming - Between The Wars

98 That Girl - Robinson

97 Nothing At All - [Spunge]

96 Trellic - Baxter Dury

95 Red Bricks - Young Rebel Set

94 Dina Flashigaste Trosor - Wille Crafoord

(**)93 Wetsuit - Vaccines

92 Pumped Up Kicks - Foster The People

91 Question What's Inside - Rob Herring

90 Stockpiling Poison - Damn Jammage

89 Homeless - Maria Mena

88 Darling Buds Of May - Brother

87 Sneaky Freak - Imelda May

86 The Other Summer - Mini Boone

None of these songs were on the first chart but the Vaccines are on the final chart of 2011 at #1 and the 3 weeks in the chart alone are enough to bring it into the top 100.

It is notable that nowadays artist will change the credits of already-released material so like "Are You Ready" earlier, "Darling Buds Of May" is now credited to Viva Brother although in the opening of the video it was made before the name-change and you just see "Brother". I tend to keep the same credit as the one used at the time the song was released, this similarly happened in 2010 with Warm Fuzzy changing their name to Wonder Fuzzy.
