well we won't really see lady gaga on the charts really this year. except her current single marry the night is still performing and its started go up a little bit on the itunes charts at one point it was at #53. now its at #37 in america. so there's still hope that mtn can still be a hit. the farthest mtn has peaked in america is at #29. so can mtn chart at least better than judas?

anyways, besides mtn still performing and most likely the only single gaga will have all year, gaga also recorded a duet with cher and the song is called "The Greatest Thing" which is suppost to be released as a single this year. so we'll se small action in terms of singles wise most likely. gaga is also gonna go on tour for her born this way album and its a 450 day tour. which will be like a 2 year tour. she's also working on a new album which maybe release by the end of the year probably.

so we look forward to that. so now gaga is in her 4th year in music. can gaga's success continue going strong? and will her 4th ablum meet with international success as her 1st 3 have.?

How about you keep these thoughts to yourself and sit on your hands next time you have them

Didn't Lady Gaga say in an interview the other day that she was releasing another album this year? It could've been fake I guess.

Seem's they are holding out on announcing Gaga's tour plans until they know what Madonna's 2012 tour will be. With Team Gaga being so obsessed at trying to outdo Madonna at every turn you can tell her Madge's return has got them running around like headless chickens. The fact we might get another rushed out Gaga album by the end of the year also shows how they daren't let her slip away from the spotlight.

When asked in an interview recently what she was hoping to achieve in 2012, amongst the waffle she said she was looking forward to putting out a new album and touring.

She didn't specifically say 2012, and even if she did that would be subject to change knowing her, but the implication was there.

RE: Madonna, I don't see how Team Gaga are "so obsessed at trying to outdo" her? There really isn't much competition between them beyond online forum gossiping, and now that they're both on the same label it doesn't benefit them to encourage any sort of conflict.

One things for certain, Interscope are going to be rolling in it this year with Madonna, Gaga and Lana Del Ray taking off.

GaGa will be all over 2012 like white on rice, they don't call her the hardest working woman in pop for no reason. She never lets up and never takes a break and that is admirable to the end. Expect to see her all throughout the year because she has so many projects it would make ones head spi, if its not her art (music, films for her music, tours) it will be her fashion, her charity work, her political career, she just never lets up.

And the best thing is we don't ever have to hear about how happy her marriage is, or how she's having a baby etc because she has no time for such trivial things, she's an artist to the core!

Typical example of someone speaking out of their own arse. So Gaga's team is "so obsessed at trying to outdo Madonna at every turn" huh? And they're "running around like headless chickens" huh? Any shred of proof there?

What a pile of subjective, prejudiced tosh.

I think we'll get another album.

I reckon they'll want to out do Madonna's tour (not in an obsessive way) in a logical way, what better tagline than to have the biggest grossing (female at least) tour in the same year Madonna is touring.

Plus they'll probably want to leave much gap in countries as possibly to allow as many people who want to go to both, the chance to (ie moneywise, I think it's in Madonna and Gaga's interest)

But as I said I think we'll get another album, because without one I don't think BTW is strong enough to warrant as big a tour as the Monster Ball, Monster Ball was huge, people were clamouring for tickets since it was the culmination of two major albums, Madonna could sell tickets even if she announced she would be performing with her back to the stage, behind a cloak, people are so desperate to see her, Gaga isn't quite at that stage (yet)

So I definitely think we'll see a Winter start to the tour after an Autumn album. Perhaps not a full album, but at least another 8 tracks like Monster was.

The problem with that is she could risk becoming so detached from normal life that her songs become artisty tosh which noone can really relate to or want to listen to.

She needs some sort of life.

Not a public life, and not to take a break (She'd rather die on stage doing what she loves rather than alone by a pool, I get that and love that about her) but I don't think it's the best thing if she sacrifices having a baby or a marriage because she's an "artist"

i dont know if she's releasing another album or not, she is working on it though isn't she?. For me i would much prefer her to turn back to her 2009 era abit more i think that she was great and i thought born this way overall had some amazing songs but lacked some fun pop music if you get me?

the kind of music she released was 80's music and the opposite of what today's music is trending to

I expect that she'll do similar to 2010 and interweave a big tour with various single releases and big promotional events. I reckon she'll be over here in the Summer, possibly with a big festival slot. There are rumours that she is likely to headline Glastonbury next year so I daresay she might do a big one this year to get accustomed to it.

There is always a possibility of another Fame Monster style release later in the year, would make sense given her previous release pattern.

So glad she's planning to release new music.

Hopefully she's upped her game from Fame Monster this time.
