By getting shut of Brucie. I know plenty of people who can't watch it because of him.

by the looks of some of the press the BBC have beaten X-factor this year but with the rumoured changes they probably won't next year!

Why not? are they allergic? are they incapable of using the remote control to change channel? or are they just small minded people?

The fixation of trying to beat ITV in the ratings is steadily ruining this programme.

How many more times have people to be told Bruce is staying?

Get used to it.

If the execs listen to whats said on here they will have new judges, new presenters and new professionals!

Maybe keeping the current celebs changing one of the judges, keeping the current presenters in the current roles might work!

I expect the BBC would like SCD to score top ratings, but trying to do so by trying to be more like the current ratings winner is probably not he way to go about it. SCD and X Factor may have some superficial similarlities as concepts but they seem to me to have very little in common at their core.

Some of the production team are changing as well so they will want to stamp their mark on the show. I would sugest they change very little this year and bed in then begin making changes!

Yes, the new production people will bring further changes as I and others have already said.

I can imagine the "suits" will tell the incomers, "Moira Ross will be a hard act to follow" (how they will do that without creasing up will need some practice), but expect at least one new non-dance related gimmick.

The ratings chase has resulted in an inexorable dumbing down of SCD - it has been a real race to the bottom.

I for one don't care who wins the ratings war - I just want SCD to go back to it's prop free days without the cringeworthy VT's.
