T mobile incommunicado!

My phone is impossible to use when going onto the Internet since a text was sent by them advising of the improved sservice and speed from completion of the Orange link up.

It loses connection frequently and will not run YouTube videos for more than a short moment. I'm in London and before simply turning phone off/on as told to in the text, was happy with previous service which worked perfectly on 3G. Any one else getting the same?

Then the nightmare of trying to speak to them began. Nothing better than automated system, then message they are overwhelmed by the number of calls and then cut off!

There is nothing worse than a hold system that wont let you hold.

Unfortunately I don't think there is much you can do about the degradation in service - either you're having problems where you're roaming onto Orange 3g, in which case you wouldn't have had 3g at all in those areas earlier (therefore no YouTube), or, the Orange users who are now roaming onto T-Mobile are using up all the capacity.

If you have Twitter, you should try contacting them on Twitter (@TMobileUKhelp) to avoid the phone nightmare.

Thanks for advice, but I'm not on twitter.

I have been told to ask them to return me to the previous set up on T mobile, but will itbe possible. Also will the additional Orange customers make that service not operate well now?

If you were getting good 3G signal in these areas before 3G roaming was enabled, then this is unlikely to be the problem as your phone will be doing exactly the same as before.

So it is either a coincidence that the problems surfaced at the same time as you got the text, or there are now capacity issues which wont be changed whether you get moved back to the old set up or not.
