Has Mr Papadopolous ever been in an episode of EE?
Does anyone know if the character Mr Papadopolous that we hear Dot & Pauline refer to, has ever been in an episode of EE?.
A couple of the girls in my work seem to think he has been Thanxs |

He probably showed his face at some point around the time when Dot was supposed to retire a while back.

He appears in a future sensational episode where one of the machines overflows and causes the cardboard launderette to get all sooggy and collapse on one of the squares best loved characters Korean war hero Kim Il Sung. They have a collection amongst the regulars in the Vic to give hime a traditional Viking Funeral

According to IMDB, Mr Papadopoulos has been played by Lee Warner from 1992-current day!

yes he appeared around 1992- to say that his father the unseen Mr Opadopolous snr had died in Athens and he was now in control. He re-appeared circa 1994 when Dot and Pauline had an argument over something and I dont think he has been since. Surely 10 years is a long time not to check up on your business?
Does anyone remember a Greek woman called Mrs Andreas who ran the mini mart for a while around that time- she disappeared too. |

I remember the death of Mr Papadopolous, and his son appearing for a brief moment.
It's odd, though, that Pauline always refers to "Old Opodopodus". Surely her current employer (the son) is younger? chuff.x. |

He had one story line at the start and then was basically a prop for the next year or so. |

EE has plenty of these little supporting characters who are seen around the edges of the main story, but suddenly vanish without trace.
Dot's friend Lily? Rosa Di Marco's parents (may not have been parents. They were certainly an "older generation"). Mick from the caff's mother and sister? (Mick himself, come to think of it). I remember Felix very well. The actor (Harry Landis) is a bigwig in Equity, I think. chuff.x. |

I remember Felix - think he remember him getting rescued once from his barber shop or something.
I'm sure that Felix bloke was in a 007 film too, killed by jaws! Or is that just me? |
