Did the coaches have any chemistry? Have you been to X Factor recordings previously and how does The Voice compare in terms of your gut feelings of it being a hit or flop?”
The chemistyr between the judges was... interesting. Nothing I've ever seen before (i've been to hundreds of recordings from Sing If You Can to X Factor live shows!).
It was quite tense at times, will.i.am looked pretty pissed off with Jessie J who kept interuppting him and taking the piss, esentially.
Tom Jones and Danny were VERY quiet, Jessie seemed to be the "head judge", or at least was the first to make her opinion heard.
The feedback was generally positive though, if rather generic, to all the contestants, adn there were no "joke" acts, but the talent was medicore at best.
As a TV geek it was interesting to watch the filming process, it was a lot more disjointed than the x factor.
At X factor auditions the show starts and then continues recording contantstly, one act comes out sings, goes back, another out, etc.
We only saw about 10 acts and took breaks after every 3 or so. The judges did interviews in the audience, and other "backstage corridor" bits inbetween, so I'm intrigued how it'll be edited together.
There were also a lot of interesting camera shots, there was a stedicam operator actually on stage standing next to the performer, which should provide some interesting and different shots.
ETA: One last note is the live band I think will become very marmite, some of their covers weren't brilliant
