Lol, the soap figures blatantly made up... as for Celebrity Big Brother, I was expecting over 4 million so that is a bit of a disappointment.

Eternal Law won the 9pm slot then it seems, but I think that may be a 'drop like a stone' series...

Obviously fake. Why would Emmerdale conveniently add 2m+ viewers and EE lose 2m?

Must be an Emmerdale fan who hates the fact EE will probably have another 9m+ rating.

Think being two hours dragged down the average, I imagine had it been 90 minutes it would have nearer 4m. BOTS did well to break 1m at 11pm.

maybe this is the reason for the delay.

Good to see both dramas beating reality last night.

good start for BB but I thought it might go higher. Good night for 5 all round though.
Good retention for Public Enemies, hopefully it will stay over 4m tonight, I'm really enjoying it though I didn't hink I would from the trailer.
Shocking for EE what happened there? Massive drop!

Either way, they are wrong (and whoever messaged them to you was trolling).

Nope, the 10:30-11pm segment was the second highest rated segment. Bit of a breakdown for you:

9pm-9:30pm: 3.1m/12.3%
9:30pm-10pm: 3.38m/13.8%
10pm-10:30pm: 3.83m/18.2%
10:30pm-11pm: 3.68m/21.2%

Bit on the Side did very well, less so the main show. Tonight will be interesting.

for CBB, it trended more than last year on twitter. Proof that it doesn't mean anything. Probably mostly fans as Samanda and Sam Pepper were trending.

Bit low for CBB. I expected about half a million more as there was a lot of buzz about it. Impressive for C5 either side of it though.

Mediocre start for Eternal Law. The rating looks alright on paper but it's going to sink over the series. I'm thinking sub-3m for the second half of the run, making it ITV's first weeknight drama flop for quite a while. Can't say I'm too surprised, it was always going to be either a smash hit or a stinking flop and it looks like it'll be the latter. I guess ITV won't be attempting another 'genre' show again any time soon. Public Enemies did well to hold completely steady.

Yesterday's gameshow overnights:

CMM 5.1m (22%)
Pointless 2.9m (18%)
The Chase 2.7m (17%)
Eggheads 2.1m (11%)
Perfection 1.7m (13%)
DOND 1.7m (15%)
Bank Job 1.2m (6%)

Ratings include HD and +1 where necessary

Source: Paul Brassey

Also excluding +1, Eternal Law averaged 4.3m (17.4%) .

C4: Location, Location, Location: 2.2m (8.5%) ... The Restoration Man: 2.1m (8.3%)

Looked like it increased from 9-10.30pm with only a minor dip at 10.30-11pm. Channel 5 will be pleased it didn't drop during the two hours. question is whether it can mantain 3m or there about.

Any breakdown for BOTS?

Enemies did well I think - held up very well. Hopefully tonight doesn't hurt it.

Eternal Law - nice start, could hold up I think - haven't seen it, was it BAD bad or just a bit 'different'???

CBB better than I thought - can see it doing better on average though, so no need to fret too much Ch5-chickedees.

Oh and the soap ratings are made up...right?

It started with a mega 1.62m/11.7% at 11pm, rising to 1.65m/13.1% at 11:05pm, then lost viewers all the way through the broadcast, before finishing on 649k/8.4% at 11:55pm.

Damn, I expected over 4m for CBB.
But BOTS did very well. Will it drop down to BB12 levels, or drop to CBB8 levels?

rzt, do you have the demos for the launch of Celebrity Big Brother 2011 and Big Brother 2011 please? I'm sure you posted them at the time. It would be interesting to compare with the new demographic info that I have, which at first glance looks to be very impressive in the 16-34 bracket.

maybe we need to wait for ratings from Digital Spy (or other source) before we discuss them further.
