MBB hurting but surviving.

Problem is you can't show MBB at 9pm surely, and I can't think of many slots on BBC1 that would allow it to get back over 5m.

The Royal Bodyguard is as successful as it deserves to be. I think it's hurting Mrs Browns Boys as a lead in. Now we should run a book on how low we think The Royal Bodyguard will go?

The viewers aren't daft. But it raises major questions about BBC bosses and schedulers.

That looks slow for Playing It Straight (I admit I like the show but recorded it last night). Impressive for CBB, being the 2nd night in a row UP on CBB8 equivalent episode.

TRB, a bit of an ouch to be done there.

10 days into 2012 and we have a nominee for the year's biggest turkey already.

And it's not a show on ITV1 Tuesdays.

And David Jason has this on his CV!!

How about Only Fools And Horses?

I think Davina's doomed BBC1 chat show actually beat those figures - wasn't it pulled before the end of the scheduled series ?

It won that title in 2011 because it was so awful now it can win it again in 2012 due to its ratings performance.

Terra Nova going from 1.564m to 867k in two minutes is pretty impressive!!

We can forgive David Jason. BBC Comedy is another matter !

And to think a 36 year old rerun of Fawlty Towers cleared 2.6m on BBC Two the other night.

I only watched episode 1 of TRB, it takes a lot to stick with a comedy these days. Another reason why they tend to rate so low in comparison to soaps/drama/talent shows. It will drop out of the BBC1 top 30 even with a dramatic timeshift.

I have been asking for 'Allo 'Allo repeats on BBC primetime for a while, maybe they can be shown as a decent lead-in to MBB

Looking at the listings tonight I cannot see one thing to watch apart from CBB which did do OK last night.

It's doing well. Up on the equivalent episode last series for the second night in a row despite launching nearly 2m viewers down last week. C5 will be thrilled I'd imagine if it can keep this up.

Pretty decent for When Paddy Met Sally too so the lead-out is having some effect.

At least it gets some repeats on BBC2 in the Dad's Army slot. The Goodies gets hardly any love at all.

Those Vicar of Dibley repeats haven't aired for a while....

Traffic Cops?

Blank screen?

And he read the script so I'm another in the 'no we can't' camp.

Wonder if Stargazing Live will beat David Jason next week.

What is this Winners or Losers Drama thats on ITV2 next sunday, is it any good, I only ask because its unheard of for ITV2 to have anything remotely watchable on a Sunday, or most days of the week for that matter.

By no suprise whatsoever the TV times top ten shows of 2011 is a bit different to D.M.N's from a few pages ago particularly the top 2.

Definitely not! There's already enough cop shows on Monday nights from next week...

Police Interceptors (Ch5, 8pm)
Coppers (Ch4, 9pm)
Bizarre Crime (BBC Three, 10:30pm)

They say you can never have too much of a good thing, but ?
