Wash your mouth out!
There were some great episodes in their last 2 series on the BBC. Scoutrageous & Earthanasia from 1977 are classics. As was Animals from their last series in 79.
The LWT shows are better than I remembered but they suffered as ITV scheduled them as a kids show.
The Morecambe & Wise ITV shows had a few flashes of genius but they were recycling whole sketches from their classic BBC years. Embarrassing.
I'd say he did count as he still moved from the BBC after a longtime to ITV.”

Hi, Cylon, the 1980 Goodies series for BBC 2 was poor and I was in a minority of one by saying they improved on LWT. However, from 1972 to 1977, they were class.
You are right about Morecambe and Wise, they had a few good moments on ITV, but by the time Eric died their ratings and reputation were well down.
