A good 3000 people ran 6hrs or slower for the London Marathon in 2011.

The slowest was 10hrs 18mins.

Thanks,checked my local marathon which had 3000 and sumtin participants and the longest was about 6 hours,and there wasn't many close to it,they cap it at 8 hours,would hate to be last.

Lol I did a half marathon in the summer - started at the back and slowly jogged the first 8 or 9 miles, then mostly walked the last few and ran triumphantly over the line just under 3 hours

In my defence I only had 6 weeks notice with no fitness background
