In answer to the OP, one season is enough. We can have too much of a good thing and people would get bored/fed up with it very quickly!

although i love strictly, two seasons wold be too much. it is the same with everything: the more you have something, the less you appreciate it

Two? Do me a favour it's not that good.....and besides Brucie needs the rest of the year to recover.

Nay for me too.

A friend and I get childishly excited in the build up because we have missed it so much. That part is just as much fun for us and I think we would lose it if it was on twice a year.

Nay - Overkill. Dance fans have got DOI and two lots of DWTS to compensate. Like the present length (three months) and number of contestants, but would like to see talented celebs last a decent number of weeks, which isn't always the case.

Maybe there is a case for a one-off midsummer event with, say, six celebs doing two dances each.
The Beeb tried this with African dancing, which didn't work that well, but with other dances it might.

I also liked Audley Harrison as a contestant - no he was never going to be a great dancer at his size and height but he made up for it in personality and going out there and enjoying himself.

In answer to the OP's question Nay - I think two series would be overkill and rather they concentrate on producing one quality 3 month series a year.”

I enjoy seeing the less talented celebs learn to dance also. I loved Gavin and Patsy last year and Audley and Alex this year. I think think that they are quite talented and they are trying hard.
Personally I would have preferred this series if Nancy, Lulu, Edwina and Russell hadn't been on (even if it meant 4 less weeks). I'm sure other people loved them but they didn't entertain me. Although I always wish that there was a week (or more) when there was dancing but not voting out.
