That's not really the right thing for Strictly where the focus should be on the contestants. Miranda's act, in particular, is very much about her own experiences and emotions (as opposed to other comedians like Michael Mcintyre who are more observational and outward looking) and so I think she would be particularly inappropriate as a judge. (Whatever Alesha's faults were she never moved the focus from the competing celebs to herself. )

Sorry, Miranda's nice enough as a person, but I think she would be just about the worst choice for Strictly.”

At least this wouldn't be a problem with Miranda as she certainly isn't a comedienne. What is funny about the fact that she is tall and clumsy?

I'm sure this is just a stupid rumour but if she did join the panel I wouldn't be able to watch - she's one of the very few people who I just can't bear to watch. And as an obsessive TV viewer, there aren't many who make me switch off !!!

It's funny - I adore her and crease up every time she goes on, but have several friends who feel the way you do so don't think she would be a good choice. She is simply too big a personality.

I thought Miranda ruled herself out as a candidate a few days ago.
