I think you're wrong. They are not pushing them too far. Chesney hurt himself with a STOP. Sylvain's injury could have happened anytime. Keith caught himself on a toe-pick. That's three.
NONE of the injuries so far could possibly be attributed to adagio tricks. Be quiet with your daft accusations. There have been plenty other not so serious injuries and on the T&D VT they themselves have said they have pushed the bar up and thats the reason for the injuries. Sylvains injury is very serious given he needed an operation it probably wouldnt have happened had he been skating with another "skater" rather than an untrained "z leb" that doesnt have a clue how to be carried around properly. |

I'm looking forward to Chemmy, Jennifer, Matthew and Sébastien. Chemmy and Sébastien both have sports fitness and probably good natural balance, given the types of sports each of them does. Jennifer has the same showbiz/dance background as Suzanne Shaw (my favourite winner to date) and Matthew is a former gymnast and dancer. Those four to me are the ones with the most potential on paper.
I have a feeling that Corey will irritate me immensely and the fact that Charlene was nicknamed The Poison Dwarf many moons ago is not a good sign. Laila's not expecting to go far and is just planning to enjoy herself for as long as she's in the competition and I'm not sure Rosemary will get very far either. Of course, I could easily change my mind about who I think is good, bad or indifferent after tonight's show. |

Can anyone explain if there is any chance that with Andrei returning is their any hope that his wife Susie may return too. She was royally shafted with her parnters. Everyone knew Jeremy couldn't dance - so why didn't they put Jeremy with Maria (who won the previous series) and Gary with Susie- That would have been so much fairer

It could just be coincidence that there are multiple serious injuries this year, but I suspect that they are happening because they are all pushing themselves a bit too hard. They might have been doing simple moves when they hurt themselves, but they were probably exhausted. It's like skiing - most injuries happen at the end of the day on the lower, supposedly easy slopes. Tired legs and not being fully focused (as you would be with a difficult move) are a dangerous combination.
It might not have happened with a more experienced partner, but Heidi's level of fame is completely irrelevant. As it happens, she's had six UK number one singles, so I struggle to see why she's a "z leb", even to the biggest cynics on this forum who hate blonde women from Liverpool. This is one of the best posts I've seen on this forum for a long time and I completely agree with you *Sparkle*. There's a very good chance that people are wearing themselves out doing stuff that's beyond them at this early stage - which is nothing new, remember Sinitta's attempted frog lift a few years ago? I imagine as well that the pro skaters are trying to 'save' their celeb partners from falling badly when they make mistakes, and that could well be causing injuries. |

Why is everyone predicting scores for Dan & Jen when they're not skating this week? Its Matt & Jorgie instead!

They'll have to have it over two weeks at the start, Chico has only just joined so will need a week to rehearse his routine

Read above... Jen has stated that Dan has been injured in training, he should be OK but as a precaution they will save their performance until next week to give him time to recover.
