Germany deserve nothing from this they have been lazy wheelsuckers.

We should just sit up and leave them to it.

Jake pointed out on twitter the BBC have no control over that sort of thing.. seems they're just given a world feed.

I hope Gripel is satisfied with the lazy Germans tactics.

They have cost him a medal.

I think was relating to the pace of the GB team.
By the way do these bikes have gears?

They should've let the TDF organizers run this race, the timings and TV coverage have been woeful compared to the GTs.

Not being a Cycling expert, has this been a GB balls up or just how these things tend to pan out?

Err that group wasn't for 4th position surely, there were loads of people who had passed the line before then.

That was awful TV coverage.

Makes you realise how well they do it on the Tour de France

lol 'in our excitement we forgot ...' err no, you forgot.

Few people on twitter pointing out the winner has a proven drug history.

Exactly, it's not been the best coverage, don't think ITV4 will lose much sleep.

I think that could be the last straw for Cav with Team Sky, he surely cannot be happy with that performence and the tactics emplyed.
He sacrificed the Tour for this event, and the royally mucked it up, so I can see him leaving Team Sky now.

Putting all your eggs in one basket is difficult with such small teams. None of the other teams are going to help if they know Cav will beat them in the sprint.

Jake has said it was outside of Beeb's control so they not happy either.

I love Jake. Having to put up with Sky coverage of F1 this weekend.

Bad luck to the GB team. Too much for them to do.

How poor was that interview with the winner by Jill Douglas on the beeb

he's just won the gold and she asks him where that ranks in his career !!

Then keeps mentioning the GB team. Why should he care

Everybody was against Cavendish and the GB team. What kind of question was that ?
