Rematch next July when Froome is better prepared? If it is a mountainous Tour then Katusha will want Rodriguez to race in France?”

You would think so , hes the best climber at this moment , be interesting to see how good the Vuelta top 3 are in France next year , something tells me they wont be at the same level as they were here , should be a stacked race though.

I have a new Giant TCR(0) 2012. and want to use the correct greases/lubricants. I have a wet lube which I have used on my mountain bike, but not sure about my new racer.
Any advice appreciated..

Doesn't look like a lot of fun out there right now. Absolutely hammering it down with rain.

I know this is on a much smaller scale but they reckon that on the Tour de France there are 8000 people travelling around with the race

Logistically it's like a medieval army on campaign...........

It's quite good, but the frequent add breaks is the biggest annoyance, thought the race might be on Eurosport but it isn't, even though Eurosport have add breaks, there not as frequent as ITV.

Eurosport are covering it on their international service but they haven't got the rights to transmit it in the UK

Shame, ITVs coverage is good but the adds are annoying. Quite strange watching the race going down Roads i'm familiar with.

Another annoying thing is that there's no indication of where they are...............the commentators are not mentionning the places they are going past and ther's no on screen graphic like you get on ES with the name of every village and place that they go past

Cav 2nd...............

did Sky go too early ?..............they appear to have been doing that a lot recently

left Cav with only one man in front and maybe 600 metres to go...........

the Aussie.............it was quite clear on the replay, I don't know why there's confusion unless we were watching the wrong line as the finishing line.............

Don't think they went too early. It looked to me that Cavendish had a touch of brain-fade and didn't notice the two guys coming through from behind. By the time he realised, it was too late and he ended up getting penned in.

Thought he did, the confusion was the screens at the finish had Cav won the stage which the commentators announced although the commentators were confused by that as well.

I thought Rob Hales sussed it right when he said that Cav let a couple of riders go past cos it was too early for him to be at the front...............he still needed leading out and if his team couldn't do it he had to let someone else past and latch on to their wheel...............

Yes I get annoyed at the lack of info about where they are. Also the post race continuity isn't great. It's a bit ramshackle from ITV4 at the moment.

The thing is, though, he still had Luke up front for him, and then he let the two others in between him and Luke. Not sure quite what the hell, happened, but it looked to me that Cav let his guard down.
