Is it just me, or is this game really glitchy? Things I've found so far include:
Various detectors stopping working. Vehicles not being there when you go to buy them. Bad guys not being there when you go to fight them. Nothing below red beacons in Gotham. Maybe it only happens in split screen? I don't know. |

Supergirl is my favourite character, so her being the last (and only one I've yet to get) is a pain in the rear. This part of the game wasn't planned very well. |

I dont play the Lego games, its the wife. I like to watch for the cut scenes etc. Is it just me though, or is this game a lot harder than previous versions ??? I'm not sure she's unlocked that many characters and she said she hasnt found any of the red bricks so far etc.

The red bricks can be found via the map of Gotham once you find the detector brick. If I remember correctly it can be found on one of the docks on the right hand side of the map. Scan the map and it'll show where they are as well as gold bricks (with the gold brick detector), character archs and hidden vehicles. You'll need specfic characters to unlock the biggest value multipliers tho. Hope that helps.
Best glitch I had besides vanishing animals was the giant Joker robot blew up for no reason on the 'Next President' level, meaning I had to replay it!!!! |

Other than that annoyance he's loving the game. But can someone tell me how you actually find/buy the other characters and vehicles? Are they just scattered around the city or do you unlock them with gold bricks etc.? |

It's a massively glitchy game. I'm giving it a break at the moment out of sheer frustration. I was right near the end of a level and it froze again. Lego games are known for freezing, but 41 minutes in and a very long way after the save point is a massive pain in the rear![]()

I'm enjoying this a fair bit but having to work with it a little to enjoy it. There are some control issues, not to mention I'm still struggling with the lack of an invert option. It's not perfect, a bit glitchy but take it for what it is then it's a lot of fun, and that's coming from someone who never really warmed to Lego games much.

I fear it's definitely activating the extras that causes the freezing. I've taken to leaving them off and it hasn't glitched since (famous last words

Also if you like your up/down camera to be inverted you are in trouble with this game as there's no option for it. |

Find it so weird that my wife hasnt found a single red box/brick yet in the game. Are they more well hidden in this one that previous games ??
EDIT: telling a lie, she just found one. |

My trusty old launch day phat died last week so I treated myself to a brand new shiny slim and a copy of LB2DCSH. First 4 hours in - really impressed. Best Lego game so far by a country mile. And no glitches...until last night when the game froze up around 30 minutes into a level. ![]() ![]() The Lego games have been the most consistently glitchworthy series I've ever come across. So frustrating because they are great games! Apart from the fact that they are unplayable because of the constant freezes. |

Lego Batman 2 has definitely been the worst for me in terms of glitching and gameplay (though I hear Indy 2 was fairly dire). I really dislike the reliance on suits, as it means playing as anyone other than Batman or Robin or maybe superman is a short affair as you have to switch out in moments. But still, as others have stated, I keep coming back, mainly because there are so few local co-op games these days.

Minikits as well as the blue minikits made it the longest game ever. |
