New: Your time in the house was dominated by your spats with Denise. Why did you clash?

Michael: Because she was so concerned with trying to get me to participate in things that I didn't want to participate in. The more I deflected, the more she'd follow me around. Do you know what it's like to be woken up in the middle of the night by this woman who lifts up her top and says, 'If I do this, will you come out and play charades?' What in the name of God!

New: Why do you think that she needed validation from you?

Michael: Because she was sexually frustrated.

New: Were you worried about her husband having words with you after the show?

Michael: Well, she made it clear she gave him permission to go ahead and do whatever he wanted to do, so it didn't really come into my mind. I was embarrassed for her.

New: You refused to do some tasks. Why was that?

Michael: I said at one point my dignity wasn't for sale, because I kept thinking about my sons telling me as I left my driveway in Malibu, 'Dad, don't go on that show!' They were very concerned about their father being involved in buffoonery [Michael has 5 sons whose ages range from 6 to 22]. I was less worried about my professional integrity than my sons seeing their father make an ass of himself.

New: What did your wife DeAnna think of the show?

Michael: She's watched it on YouTube in the US. She thought it was kind of strange, but addictive. I had a really hard time without her because we've been together for 18 years. She's a vixen!

New: You often seemed a bit puzzled by CBB. Did you do it for the money?

Michael: Of course there was the money, but I wanted to find out what kind of social animal I am. I found that I'm not a social animal. And I love the UK. I wouldn't have done it in Florida.

New: Any words for your former co-star Vinnie Jones, who recommended you do CBB?

Michael: You f***er. F***ing f***er. No, I love Vinnie. He's a good bloke.

I like that interview. ”

Thank you. Good interview.

You're welcome.

If you study the TV listings, there seems to be at least one of his films on somewhere every day.

I bet Michael would laugh if he saw this:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HYQWNmfe3PE

It's really accurate.

And here's the 2nd bit. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EQAr_AjZt-E

Thanks for the interview IDFE. I thought he might be cursing Vinnie who probably told him it would be an easy ride.

When you think about it, Vinnie DID have an easy ride. When did HE ever have to dress up as a bee and have electric shocks through his arse?

Edit:

Or crawl through treacle looking for teddy bears in feather pillows? He got tarred and feathered! The poor sod.

At least Michael discovered a new talent - for Karaoke

He was in good spirits all day during that Japanese task. Bet we would have seen a lot more of this sparky, hilarious side to his character if a certain hm hadn't been in there lol

.

Vinnie was also in the house with some REAL celebrities - Stephanie Beecham, Ivana Trump. . .

Thanks so much for bringing the interview over. I don't think I'd be too pleased being woken up in the middle of the night either.

You're welcome.

Perhaps now this last series of Celebrity Big Brother was so successful they will be able to entice bigger names to come on the show. I'd love it if Jonathan Ross signed up.

Just registered to Twitter (I know, I always said I wouldn't but I did. ) Michael left a tweet; he had a nightmare last night that he was still in the BB house!

Yes, Michael, and you'll be getting flashbacks and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder for years to come... I recommend counselling.

Michael tweeted a hello to his 'friends in London - Frankie & Kirk'. How sweet.

It's going to harder than I thought for people to attend the screening of "Reservoir Dogs" with Michael Madsen. You have to win tickets in a competition if you want to attend, and the film is being screened in a "secret location." But if you get in, I bet it will be nice.

Thank you so much for posting this interview. He's so funny.

Vinnie had a really easy ride in CBB compared to Michael. You just can't predict who will be in the house with you, and your housemates make the experience what it is. Vinnie's year had real celebrities to share the experience with him, and that makes all the difference.

Morning all.

Hope snow isn't too bad for all of you.

Does anyone know if Michael has done any work over here? There is a commercial I've now seen a couple of times and it does sound like Michael.

He's talked about doing voiceover work for commercials in general, but I don't know what he may have done in the UK.

What product is the commercial for?
