Am just posting on behalf of Matt and Enrico - they are hosting a two-hour Zumbathon, with all proceeds to go to Cancer Research, on 5th February 2012, in Bromley.

Everyone is welcome to join in, and you can either pay £15 on the day to join in, or book beforehand paying £12.

Well done to Matthew and Enrico for giving up their time for such a good cause.

Would love to experience one of their zumba classes as they sound fantastic.

I would have loved to go but it is a bit too far for me to get to on a Sunday.

For those new to zumba, perhaps someone has a link showing zumba with music, in particular with Matthew?

I'm sure it will be a great success. I certainly hope so since it is a good cause. Surely the attraction of dancing with Matthew (and Enrico) for an afternoon must get some people signing up. Unfortunately for me, my dance lesson has moved to Sunday afternoons (and is not really moveable for various reasons) and so I can't make it. If that changes for any reason then I would go along since I am based in South London

If anyone wants to search Youtube on 'Matthew Cutler' and 'zumba' then there is a very nice clip of him talking about it and demonstrating it. (Not sure if I can post the link here since it is a QVC one?) I haven't tried zumba before but it looks very easy to do and it seems you can put the level of effort into it that is suited to you as an individual.

yes it is - even I can do it with back problems/sciatica - you can do it at an extremely high level or just have a little move around - music is great and it is enormous fun without the need to feel you have to be "exact" - so long as you just keep moving, it's cool!

Firstly a bumpity bump for Matt and Enrico for a fab cause!

Secondly Zumba is great fun even for those like us with dodgy bits that don't work like they used too! I go to a couple of teachers ( when my back lets me!) and have to say that M&E look to be the best teachers and are so easy to follow! Anyone worried about going and making a prat of themselves, don't! Everyone does at times and that's all part of the giggle!

I just need to find a way to move them closer to Buckinghamshire...........

Am not sure ANY of my bits work any more - am falling apart lol - but its true - is so easy to do your own version of it even if you look like a jellybaby on acid doing it (which I do!). My children hate seeing me do it (boys!) because "your bits wobble Mummy" - charming! Last time I zumba in front of THEM lol.

WHO CARES!!!! Wobble away!

This is such a great way to raise money for Cancer Research - is actually on that day Cancer Research Day! so anyone who can get off their little butt cheeks to go and support these amazing guys, wiggle wiggle, and raise lots of money, is great in my book!

Please try if you possibly can to support this wonderful cause.

I guess those of us who aren't in a fit state to wobble at the moment could always just send a donation to the boys! Every penny counts to cancer research and you don't have to be able to Zumba with them on the day to help! (much as I'd rather be there!)

yes I told them to set up a fundraising page but they don't like to feel they are asking ppl for money, bless them! so it's just donating to Cancer Research itself I'm afraid ! OR paying your £12 or £15 by going and having fun on the day. xxx

Just read on the attached link that the Zumbathon raised over £3,000, so congratulations to Matt and Enrico and all those taking part - fantastic!
