I've been listening to James Morrison & Jessie J - Up and can't help but be disappointed.

Has there been any other collaborations you can think of that's really let you down?

Kind of the same. I'm a big Rihanna fan, and I don't really like Princess of China. But at the same time, I wasn't expecting to like it in the first place. I've never really liked any Coldplay songs, so even Rihanna singing on those songs wouldn't really make a difference tbh.

When Rihanna collaborates with dance DJs, rappers and other pop stars, there's a good possibility her fans will like the collab, because they like that sort of music, but her doing a song with Coldplay is weird, because Rihanna fans usually don't really like alternative music. I think a lot of her fans don't like Princess of China.

Pixie Lott and Jason Derulo - Coming Home (was hoping for a big upbeat electropop anthem and it was just a dull, dreary repetitive warble of a song ).

Alicia Keys and Beyonce - Put It In A Love Song (considering the profiles, this song should have been alot better. Again, just a bunch of nothing)

Rihanna and Nicki Minaj - Fly (both known for their uptempo delivery and yet were given a weak ballad)

Agree with Alicia Keys and Beyonce.

This one was a few years back: Nelly and Tim McGraw - Over and Over.
Also, Drake has completely ruined "What's my name" and I'm not a fan of collaborations with Nicki Minaj either. And I wasn't very impressed with the collaboration between Craig David and Sting (Sugababes totally outdone that one).
And that's about it.

^ The Nelly/Tim McGraw song, I had expected would be dreadful. Those artists just don't go together. Their music is just too different imo.

About Drake and What's My Name?, personally his verse is possibly the highlight of the song, and I do think he is needed for it.

Yeah, Fly was also quite boring, considering the artists. I think the best Rihanna/Nicki collab is Raining Men. I hope they do some more like that in the future.

Christina Aguilera and Nicki Minaj in 'WooHoo'
Britney and Madonna in 'Me Against the Music'. I don't hate it but is that really the best they could do?

i think Alicia Keys & Beyonce's collab 'Put It In A Love Song' is brilliant!

Let downs for me would be

Tinie Tempah & Kelly Rowland - Invincible ( i love the song now, it is a grower, but still could have been a lot better)

Taio Cruz & Ke$ha - Dirty Picture ( really sleazy song that is not as good as either of their own efforts)

Madonna & Britney - Me Against the Music ( shame that was all that they could come up with)

And probably an unknown one to most, but when Timbaland collaborated with The Fray on an album track to Shock Value 2 - what a dreadful song!

Madonna/Britney - Me Against The Music (the MadTV spoof is better)
Mariah/Whitney - When You Believe (cheesy, bland, etc.)
GA/SB - Walk This Way

But the worst has got to be

Bowie and Jagger dancing in the street.

I'd disagree with this. The 'Frankie, Mollie, Una, Vanessa, Rochelle what you doin' Saturday, girl?' intro was a nice touch and much more "personal" than other collaborations.

Glad to see someone else who thinks that Umnbrella was fun but got old fast and TTT is excellent its got to be the third single surely.

I always though Beyonce and Lady Gaga Video Phone collaboration was pretty dull they could have done something really good but it just fell flat.

My sentiments exactly for TTT anyway, but i suppose with gaga and Bey they went onto do Telephone which made up for it

Didn't Video Phone come after Telephone?

Video Phone, the original version, came out in 2008 I think, but then in 2010 they did the remix of it ft. Lady Gaga when they released it as a single.

I personally think Telephone is the boring one. Video Phone is really interesting imo. I never heard a song like that before.
