What makes someone your best friend? Because if it's someone you talk to more than anyone else, see more often than anyone else and spend more time with than anyone else...then yes, it's probably my cat.

My cat is just as important to me as my family. He's a really sweet little guy and everyone loves him.

They aren't my best friends but my pets are very much a part of my family.

I love my cat to bits, but he's not my best friend. He can't even talk or communicate properly with me, something which I think is vital for friendship. I'd say he's more of companion, but a pretty poor one at that, because most of the time he's either asleep or hassling me for something.

I would not get rid of our dog but he's not my friend because he's a little bar steward

I would say my dog that died a few year backs that I had since i was 5, was one of my best friends. He was always there for a cuddle when no one else was. :sleep:
