2. "fans" WILL and HAVE commented on his private life. I seem to remember it was posted on here about some dingbat who was concerned how quickly he was moving in with Faye!

3. Yes it is good P.R for him. Not for unqualified interfering dogooders to tell him what he should or should not be doing. If he needs advice, he has an agent.That is his job.

4. I used the term "advice" loosely as I was being polite. No P.R is not advice. P.R is for him to promote HIMSELF.

5. This thread is not P.R. It is a discussion forum for randoms from the internet. Potential employers will not be looking here to see what mood Aaron was in on day 27 or whether he looks better in the green or bleeding grey cardi!!

I don't agree with it, I will never agree with it. I find it completely disrespectful that any "fan" should think they have a right to tell him what choices he should make and I stand by that.

I believe we are once we are respectful and observe boundaries. I have seen tweets I consider intrusive on his twitter from fans trying to advice him in different ways.
I am not on Aaron's FB,I joined the various fan sites instead. if I felt strongly I would comment. I would word it tactfully though and speak as a fan only.
We are not strangers giving him advice, we are fans telling him what we want to see.Its in his interest to do stuff his fans will watch.
If he does things his fans hate he will lose them.It seems most hated the BBot stuff.
Mark is a one trick pony and has passed his sell by date.I am glad Aaron is still mates with him as he brings out Aaron' s lighter side.But a comedy partner no.

I think you've pretty much nailed it there.

You could see his Facebook as being virtually a cross-sectional representation of his entire fanbase. Of course he would be interested to know his fans' opinions about certain things that he does, as they're pretty much his target audience, and the people who will be tuning in to anything he does choose to do in the future.

This is of course to an extent though. Nobody has the right to intrude on anything personal, and anyone who decides to try and dictate his personal life in any way, such as telling him to drop Mark as a friend, is obviously overstepping the line.

I do sometimes wish that he'd start Tweeting on Sundays though. This place often turns a little tedious due to lack of information on which to base discussion.

Yes, It was the strangest thing. A random person who I once exchanged a tweet with and maybe (and I stress maybe) made eye contact with in my local Sainsbury's saw fit to befriend me on facebook and then take me to task.

This began with a few choice names (cunningly disguised as platitudes) and then went on to a frank, long winding critique of my lifestyle.

It then ended with some insults aimed at my friends. (For my own good you must understand)

It was a dark, dark time in my life, but It did make me take a good look at myself.

However, I have never looked at facebook in quite the same way since.

I'm not much of a fan of social networking tbh, and it's partly down to shit like this. The sense of security stemming from being able to interact with people whilst sitting behind a screen gives people the bravado to put down others who they would never have the balls to even approach in real life. It can turn into quite a mess when dealing with the wrong sorts, and it doesn't help when all info is immediately visible to F&F.

Good to hear you've gotten past it though. I'm sure you'll give Facebook a second chance at some point. I find that having a nice f**kabout with the privacy settings usually does the job.

Yep, as much as I like seeing Aaron on the telly, I completely agree. BB is not a big enough show now to lead to a successful tv/celeb career. Despite all the talk of "great meetings" etc this appears to have lead to just a few brief "comedy" skits and maybe a couple of panel appearances on BOTS. That's not even going to keep him in PG Pyramids.

It might be different if he was a young, free and single lad but he's a 31 year old man with a new home, new partner and a six year old son. Not intending to be rude here but generally people in that situation need a steady, regular, reliable income - he isn't going to get that from random appearances on the BOTS panel. One of the reasons I liked Aaron so much is that he appeared to be a genuine guy who was on the show purely for the experience and the fun. I think it would be disappointing if he turned into a desperate z lister. I understand that it must be fun to do these things (tv, photo shoots etc.) while it lasts but a sense of reality also needs to prevail.

I don't think the lack of tweets yesterday has anything to do with the response to the BOTS VT, I think it's just representative of the increasing infrequency of his tweets. I was reading through his old tweets last night (yes I was that bored) and it struck me how, in the first few weeks, not only were they more frequent, but they were funny, quirky, and just genuine (daft things like "going to have a bath and listen to some Westlife" etc). Over the last few weeks though in my view they appear to have become much more PR/self promotion orientated. That's fine if that's what he wants, but I feel it's a bit of a shame.

Aaron added us and posts on it for us to give our opinions.So far not eveything has been positive..There were strong opinions about the stag night which included Faye and he had to intervene.He cannot have it both ways.If it is all good people will compliment him and they can express concerns if they are not happy.Tbf if anyone breaks boundaries or becomes very personal they are told off.If people here think 'drop Mark' is bad there was a 'Faye is not good enough for you' and this person was told off.I dont think anyone is telling him to drop Mark as a friend.Mark has become worse since this debate started.Aaron doesnt need telling anymore lol

BIB2 In my opinion that is what it should be.He still throws in a few jokes which is fine.The Jay/Louise approach is not proffessional.These are open public sites,he shouldnt be living a detailed life on twitter.

These are assumptions.From experience I have been involved in a housemate who had 3ATs on this board at the time.I have dealt communicated with their agent about these threads.I can ASSURE you these threads are more effective than you think.I knew them from being here and it is me who contacted them.I was a stranger.I am not going to kiss and tell.You either take my word for it or not.!

Fans are very much qualified,much more than you think.There are PHD holders on these threads.Lots of degree holders and PR specialists.

Oooh that makes me mad. Aaron clearly wants Faye in his life, and clearly knows more about what makes her tick than any Facebook random. Even if you have doubts you really shouldn't express them like that, based on probably zero actual experience with the girl.
